Yeah - was enough to start seeing differences between each run and to be happy to try what you knew would be a bit too much in the knowledge that you'd be able to try a little bit less the next run and the next run until you found that spot that just wasn't "a bit too much"

Scanners - not just for checkout chicks

10 runs for me including a couple of breaks, coffee etc. Was a very quiet night. Zero wait at scrutineering, maybe 10 pairs of cars max lining up in staging and a heap of cars doing solo runs because there was no car ready to fill the other lane at different times. 12.197@118 with a 2.02?? 60' for me No traction issues - flat to the floor the whole way if I get off the line clean. Slowly feeling my way to a good start - am narrowing the gap between too much and too little boost - one day I'll get a run where I nail it just right. Definitely found the "too much" boost point with a half track burnout :S Was up til about 4am with Don last night with us just chatting about the nights runs - I reckon the tossing of ideas back and forth, a bit of analysis of what we and our cars were doing and thinking about the differences we both experienced was at least as beneficial as any seat time we had. Will definitely be a bit more confident next meet with a new plan of attack.

Have got a couple of mac's here that remote in to the windows servers. Am so tempted to just bootcamp them and use them as windows machines. Frustrating things they are.

Is the office desk - no pics of home setup - coz work

2x27" and a 28" in the middle for me at home Movie on 1, game on the middle and browsing on the RHS screen 2x27"'s at work - editing etc on main screen, source documents on the RHS screen Desk is hard against a wall, so puts a third screen out of the equation at the office - it would get used though if it was possible.

Colour matching and panel fitting was definitely done by professionals (except the colour doesn't match and the panels don't fit)

More power, better suspension etc What does everyone else think they should have done to make it better? Without major changes to the drive line (not going to happen for a one off, run out model) how much further could they have gone (safely and warranty/reliability wise)? Sure, it may not be what it should have been, but it's at least a little better than just a sticker pack and will be unique in its own ways.

They are an upgrade - no argument here. Whether you'll make use of it will depend on you and your driving. I'm not sure if I'd ever push the stock rotors to the point of fade on the street/hills, but just wanted the extra confidence slotted gave when I made the switch. All up I went from being frustrated and constantly having the brakes (or lack of) on my mind for the first 6k to no longer giving them a second thought for the next 24k after I changed them. Now they just work as they should. The stock rotors with decent pads most probably would have had the same outcome for me.

I think overboost stays on until temps get too high. I wonder if the overboost on the T's follows the same and isn't counted in the "official" figures

Slotted T2's and bendix ultimates were the first change I did to my car - the OEM's I found woeful driving around normally. Zero grab and having to apply far more pressure/use more pedal travel when stopping, even from slow speed, than seemed natural. I think the pads made the most difference in these circumstances rather than the discs, but didn't want to stuff around and have still not have what I wanted. Note: the ultimates squeal like a stuck pig for me. Can't hear them unless the window is down and others report no noise

Even a pad change will do wonders from the stock
