Not sure if any help, but are you able to say the size/model of the PBR calipers/upgrade? Maybe obvious - not sure. True - have heard everything from a few hundred for a first offense, $2,000 per cylinder through to ~$25k for the installer/person who did it. Never heard of anyone actually being pinged though. Not sure if it's a RWC item either - or if it's in the realm of the EPA that would need to test etc - maybe a defect notice and need to book into EPA, by which time the CAT will be working properly?

I think he just got his license, bought an XR6T, had a mate stuff up tuning it and modding it on him and discovered that his car wasn't the strongest across all classes of vehicles like he thought it would be. Was a lot for him to process all in the same week - so he decided to do his reflecting on the forum edit: He's probably now on the GTR forums asking why the Falcon has more boot space and seats 5 comfortably, why the Prius gets better mileage, why a Merc is comfier on a long drive and why the extra turbo he put on isn't working
