  1. 12.15 again last night. Car might be able to get a bit better, but that seems to be where I'm at. 1.878 60‘ for my new best 60' so am still improving - I think all my runs were beating the 2 seconds which is a huge step forward from where I was previously. Still need to work out the best revs to stall up to off the line, so should be able to get a bit more there. Same with the shifts further down the track. Then I need to put them together for a single run. No probs with my "double tapping" the shifts this time. Pretty sure it was as Lennox suggested above and I wasn't forcing 1st on the line :S
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQlIhraqL7o (for ^^, not me)
  3. Best I did was open the top of the kettle to fill with water (it was empty), put my phone in, put the lid back on and start with the coffee in the mug etc. Only time I've ever been glad the kettle was empty - although, it if wasn't I wouldn't have taken the top off it in the first place :S
  4. I suggest putting the rear up on blocks, putting it in reverse, putting the foot down and then kicking the blocks out
  5. Yeah - Mick said ages ago the issues he was having - I thought it would be something to do with his account Then this popped up, he said it was fine in chrome and a couple of others had the same issue I thought I'd look a bit deeper 2 seconds of google-fu and the first result suggested compatibility view See - I'm not really that awesome - just pretend to be occasionally on the internet
  6. I think there's a shortcut/icon at the RHS of the address bar to toggle it (looks like the "broken page" symbol. Not sure if it remembers or you need to re-do it each time you open IE or the page if you do it that way though. Could always recommend they just switch to tapatalk
  7. Tried it in compatibility view like I said above? I think it has to do with a pop up box that comes up the first time you try to paste to IE - "Let IE access your clipboard Y/N" or something - some seem to have not gotten that memo Maybe try resetting all the settings/security?
  8. FFS - that is in no way acceptable - made me see red, can't begin to understand how you must feel. He must have been hooking it around to get that to happen too - wheels don't fly round the back enough to cause that damage without being "encouraged"
  9. Just started on Legends with Sean Bean starring - so far am up to episode 2 and he's still alive. Never thought I'd see a show he wasn't killed in
  10. Reminds me of the old Colgate add "Ooh - it does get in" For the less knowledgeable amongst us - is that how it's be expected to be looking, with the darkening a result of the hardening process?
  11. Try IE in "compatibility view" and see if it works (is the broken page icon at the right end of the address bar
  12. Working fine for me Only on this forum or others as well? Try another browser or reboot?
  13. http://www.primewire.ag/ Hit and miss as to the quality, but usually able to find something to kill time with
  14. Would that be Jet taking a sip?
  15. Honestly - I've got no problem with the current interior. Absolutely love the ICC screens position - no other car I've been in with a reversing camera has it come up on a screen that is actually in a place that is viewable like this one is. Much prefer the flat panel buttons to dials, knobs etc My only issue with the interior of the car is the seating/steering wheel position - which I don't think has been addressed at all.
  16. Just started on Suits. Love it, brilliant show. Can't believe no ones recommended it yet
  17. Set of legit Ray-Bans Bought a set off the beach in Thailand 3 years ago for $10 that have been the best sunnies I've ever had. Loved them so much that I bit the bullet the other day and ordered the real deal (the closest match to the copied set I bought) Am sure the dodgy set are probably bad for the eyes (dark, but no real SPF etc), but they have held up so well for so long and can now be relegated to service as an emergency set. The new ones are so much more relaxing to wear - noticed the difference immediately. It's like my eyes let out a little sign of relief and put their feet up on the couch once I put them on.
  18. Don't think the thought out the advert really well. I'd definitely drop in for an alignment check after the other shop's finished all the other servicing
  19. I've always said - "They look great on your girlfriend" and have no problem enjoying the view
  20. Bit more leeway on an $18k bike than an $80k car for the banks though - could be 20% vs 5% of the whole mortgage. I think even the CBA would balk at that - especially coming into the loan fully leveraged and without history
  21. WMMFG: Faith No More announced for Soundwave with some other decent crews
  22. Yep - gone are the days where you could pick out an unmarked cop car by having an antenna
