    Autotech Tuned Fg

Wheels, brakes and stance look horn - I keep pulling away from a Bembro setup because I like the wheels on my car so much (Limited Edition 19's), but am slowly getting interested in biting the bullet Fantastic work on the tune/mods - bet you're itching to get it out on the track again now. Might require a bit more of a balanced touch coming out of the corners now
  2. He had on the Hi-Vis jacket so he should have been fine
  3. WMMFG: Ducked home at lunch time, dragged the cover off the bike and rode it back to the office (charged the battery over the weekend) First time on the bike in probably a year (back's been dodgy) Beautiful arvo for a ride once I knock off tonight.
  4. Lol - if the ECU's were that smart we wouldn't need tuners at all - chuck in whatever hodge podge of mods we wanted and let the computer fix itself up to suit
  5. So the Skoda costs about the same to run as my FG - sweet
  6. There's a cure for that http://www.antimonkeybutt.com/
  7. Was thinking along those lines. I'd imagined the injector swap would be one of the quicker and easier part of any work (but I could be wrong) Would a few hundred to do it be a realistic charge using customer supplied injectors?
  8. How much would you be saving compared to just getting the tuner to install them once you got there? (or change them yourself onsite before pushing the car into the workshop)
  9. I'll be having a good look at it - may be the thing that eventually switches me to Android
  10. Bit of a cruise happening on Sunday (50 odd cars??) I saw on the B&FG facebook group. Anyone going or know if the group is mostly filled with dropkicks? Will probably tag along for the day.
  11. We've got a few forum members who work the rail lines don't we?
  12. Just pre-ordered the new Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (lol at compact - it's got the same size screen as my Lumia 920) for my son for his birthday. Will be his first proper phone. Waterproof (he had his new ipod in his pocket and went for a swim the day he got it 6 years ago - Apple were awesome and did a straight swap) Long battery life (can sit in the bottom of his school bag until needed for a couple of days) PS4 remote play (we all should have the ability to play proper games while on the crapper)
  13. The inside has a tube around the outside like a home deep-fryer cage - lots of holes letting the air waft? around as it goes from the inlet to the outlet
  14. Looks like the same car to me
  15. Probably not the same, but I had very, very intermittent, very, very rough idle occasionally when pulling up at the lights etc Felt like it was going to stall maybe once or twice a week Months going back and forth to Ford to fix under warranty - they never found it, even had the "specialists" looking into it. Could never replicate it when I wanted to Turned out it was an out of balance/dodgy thermo fan - intermittent because they weren't on 90% of the time. Wasn't even a hard drive, just a random cruise to the shop or run on the highway could trigger it though. The blokes at Pitlane finally diagnosed it when I'd all but given up hope - still took a couple of returns to Ford before they finally agreed and put in a new one.
  16. Not with it parked behind with the neons going
  17. I notice they chose a new tuner this time Wonder how much input Dick actually had on it
  18. All fun and games til they fill it up with E10 coz of budget cuts? Dicky Johnson GT-F Cop Car
  19. Mine's more economical when the weather is crap - a week of rain I get almost twice the range than I do when it's dry
  20. Finally some good news on your fuel useage Don http://www.news.com.au/finance/money/heres-where-to-buy-the-cheapest-petrol-ahead-of-the-long-weekend/story-fnagkbpv-1227077023331 Frankston has the cheapest in OZ so you'll be able to grab some cheap fuel while you're staying here.
  21. That's it - have delegated Scorpion to the "Don't bother" bin
