Keep your ears open for the Snowies Cruise later in the year - should be a great run (this one was only ever a quick, "anyone interested" idea I had - sorry they canned the movie at the drive in :( ) Will work out over dinner tomorrow what everyone feels like for the rest of the evening - cruise, movie etc. Could still head to the drivein to see whatever's on

I'm just here for the show - couldn't give a sh*t one way or the other regarding gay marriage, but the fireworks are head shakingly good to watch. The self righteous vocal minorities on both sides give me the sh*ts, so it's enjoyable to watch them both getting over the top upset about something.that doesn't affect me, rather than something that does. Am sure that once the air's out of this "argument" they'll all move on to something I do have an interest in :(

Definitely agree 100% Seen Karnivool a few times now live - even playing with The Dead Letter Circus as openers (who were awesome live - heaps better than their recorded music) Themata's one of my favorite albums ever (and the Persona EP) - the new stuff, not so much. No idea where the guy gets the energy from - between Karnivool and Birds of Tokyo (not a fan - wish he'd focus on the harder side more) - he must be on something good. Huge talent

Edit: Spoke with Evil - he's still keen on a cruise so it looks like we'll be headed out for a drive after dinner instead of the movie

The Drive in has stopped screening Mad Max None of the others are either (Dandenong or Coburg) - looks like last week was the final one for the show Fark Anyone got any other ideas? See a different movie at the Drive-In? See Mad Max at a local cinema? Shoot Rab for not being able to deliver on the night? Go GoKarting/Bowling/Pub instead? Call the night off? Failing any other ideas, I'll probably head to dinner with my son at Bobo's and then head to the Frankston Cinema to see Mad Max - was holding off seeing it for the event, but do want to watch it on the big screen.Show's at 9:10 at Frankston, or 9:30 at Karingal

WPMO: Friggin schools. They decided to make tomorrow a student free day - kids get a day off. Why the f*ck not tie it in with the long weekend we just had? At least then the parents could plan and make use of the day. At least it isn't as bad as the one last year - kids come back from holidays for 2 days before the weekend, then it was a public holiday on the monday , then they throw a student free day in the middle of the week after :S Bureaucracy at it's blindest.

If it only looks like the 3 or 4 (if Wilko is able to make it) cars coming and Phoenix doesn't want to head to to Kellies, I'm pretty sure we could find a different place to meet up and eat. I think Kelly's was chosen for the last cruise because it was the closest and easiest for everyone to meet up coming from 20 different directions (don't think we're locked into Kelly's are we?) If we did change the venue Phoenix, would you and the misses be able to join us for dinner? Evil - can you add my son to the "coming" list? 2 laps tonight before the churn started - am definitely getting used to it Through the esses and the dip to the elbow - it's actually got the drop - the steepness of the road. Always felt wrong on the flat screen when going through there, you never got the sense of the drop. Being able to look around, look through the corners, and be immersed in actually being in the car/world - and to actually believe it and be there, rather than just play the game Am sold - not an emotional or verbal guy, but I was cheering and calling out through that section. f*ck yeah - am still trying to wipe the grin off my face :D :D :D
