  1. install date? I'd get the misses to phone them and play blonde If they stuff her round - get the part number and DIY from eBay
  2. Tried that - was too dark - had to get purple neons under the hood
  3. Taping the business end of the plug on the concrete till it looked right is how I used to gap my mowers plugs.
  4. Silly stubbie They're on backwards No way he'd be able to see them from the cabin
  5. Lol The pic you posted made it look like it was a "spanner set for ants"
  6. Only thing I miss from V8's is the sound/growl/burble That said - it's a huge part
  7. In the old days PCV was just to return unused fuel vapours back the the engine system instead of to the atmosphere wasn't it? Has that changed? (my learning stopped about 1976-7 when the charcoal filters came in)
  8. couldashouldwoulda - remember now that I said after the last cook that I need to get new batteries :S The unit goes camping etc and has never let me down - only got myself to blame
  9. Totally - Cracked the sh*ts major (not something I do often - especially when others are involved - not an emotional guy) Glad I was wearing steelcaps and there was nothing too flammable where the spit ended up
  10. Yeah - I know the price and the value Shake my head at people spending even half the price on a gas cooker This thing will be passed down to my favorite offspring
  11. WPMO: Decided to cook up dinner on the spit Awesome bit of pig and some chunks of cow. Spent a good couple of hours prepping the meat and the veggies and the spit. Put the meat on and went inside to finish the veggies and get them ready for the oven. Half a dozen people coming for dinner - they were going to be fed well. . . . Batteries in the mother f*cking motor for the rotisserie ran out while I was inside doing veggie stuff. Enjoy your f*cking half burnt, half raw beef ya dogs
  12. Yeah - I get that The "eggs" though are a totally different level to gas or even Webers I've been using a no-name ebay one for a fair few year and absolutely loving it Have had to run a smaller chunk of meat for the low and slow cooks than I'd like to though (you haven't lived til you've eaten properly done brisket - 12-16 hours on the smoker and your toes curl when you get some) This one is the size I need, comes with a crap load of extra stuff that I'll actually use and isn't a cheap knockoff I know it's not cheap, but hey - it's like when people ask why you spend $xxxxx on a car when you can get a Hyundai for a fraction At least this is something I've had experience with and it's an honest upgrade and "end level" purchase
  13. Am cooking a pork and beef spit this arvo on the rotisserie coal keg thing. Needed some extra prongs for the rotisserie bar (to hold the meat) Walked into BBQ Galore - 20% off everything Walked out with a new BBQ - bigger, proper brand version of my no-name ebay special egg and it comes with all the goodies. Gets delivered next week $500 off the price https://www.barbequesgalore.com.au/brands/kamado-joe/kamado-joe-big-red-d-c-with-stand-shelves-kjoebigcr

    The main sticker:
  17. Not really feasible (max 15 pages for booklet stapling according to their webpage) :( Different grades of paper throughout the documents, including a specific, preprinted A3 160gsm page for each :S Could probably work out something "acceptable" after juggling and experimenting for a few hours if I had access to their systems, but I'll just sit here and complain on the forum instead
  18. Probably about once a year it's out of action for more than an afternoon (due to parts required etc) They're usually pretty good on maintenance (service agreement) - changing most stuff before required. The issue this time was a little, $0.50, hard plastic catch that broke, causing one of the feed motors to not center and tear itself apart. New motor was in stock at his local depot - little plastic catch........ not so much
  19. We call them Telstra ties Mate was a Telstra tech years ago and was always our source for them - "Hey Jonesy, chuck us over another bag of them telstra ties"
  20. I wish - A3 paper saddle stitched (stapled) into 25 page A4 colour books 80 pages duplexed and stapled Bit above the local shop's products :( Am keeping the clients happy by sending them soft copies of the important/urgent work, but it doesn't look good from my end "Hey - here's your order - you ok to print it at your end? Will only take a couple of reams of paper and you'd better stock up on toner"
  21. Set up companies, trusts, super etc Printer is pretty much the crux of the operation for all the documentation
  22. WPMO: My printer (huge, expensive multifunction stapler, booklet, sorter etc) has been out of action since weds Work is backing up, customers are tapping their feet... Tech is (hopefully) back soon for the 3rd visit. Going to be a late night for me, catching up on the workload, then an early monday delivering the packages to the customers waiting on their stuff.
