Am using the Note 5 and find it perfect - would have no problem recommending one. Only proviso I'd have would be how invested you are in the Apple ecosystem - if you've got all your music and apps etc in itunes etc that you use constantly and all the gadgets round the house that work with the iphone then you'd need to decide if it's worth the switch/ditching whatever you've invested.

Bought friggin excellent cuts of meat while I was there that would have cost me double and not been as good from the local butcher I walked out with baby back ribs, beef ribs and a couple of 500ml? bottles of French's Mustard for $80 - the beef ribs alone would have cost me $65 from the local butcher and (sorry) they would not have been as good in quality. The baby back ribs are the best and meatiest I've seen, but haven't cooked them yet. I only had a quick walk round, but yeah - it looked like stuff was either in big boxes or two or six packs, but for bloody good prices. I think you can get a "temp membership" or visitors pass or something, but stuff it - for $55 (you have a business/ABN) - if it's close enough then it's definitely worth it.

10's fantastic from my experience - they did get rid of all the "media center" stuff though with it didn't they? With things like this - I've always found it a hell of a lot easier when people decide to take the plunge and do the "upgrade" themselves rather than when it's forced upon them. Lot easier to choose to do it than be forced to, kicking and screaming when there's no other choice.

Air leak? Maybe the pipes need to be tightened (and close up once warm) Re: the AM radio - have the windows been tinted? Isn't the antenna in the rear window? I've heard some tints can cause issues

Just bought myself a Costco membership Damn there's some savings to be had - didn't get anything other than some meat this trip, but will be making use of it. ($0.97/l for 98 PULP I think it was - am on LPG so didn't get any. I think that beats even the shopper docket discounts?)

Beef ribs (1 rack bourbon baste, other rack simple hot sauce), corn, cheese kranskies on the smoker Potato salad and garden salad as optional extras. Corn was that sweet and juicy that no one believed me that I hadn't buttered it. Objects in the pic look a hell of a lot smaller than they really are (closest corn cobb reaches elbow to wrist and the ribs are far too big to be able to close your hand round)

Cheers Evil, Hopefully the long weekend gives a few the chance to come along and doesn't clog the roads with too many tourists. Me and Aidan are booked on the Spirit, so we're definite regardless. Will have to get a feel for the route as we go - am a little sceptical of the times the links give, but they're probably true.

TAS Anzac Weekend Cruise 2016 22/04/16-26/04/16 This thread is a work in progress at the moment – better to get it up to give as much notice/time for those interested to plan towards. Suggestions and local knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Pictures, links, maps and more details to come. Well guys, on the 2015 Snowy Cruise there was a fair bit of interest shown in us running a cruise in Tasmania – those who have been round the apple isle are itching to get back; those who haven’t owe it to themselves to do it at least once. The Anzac weekend is proposed as it gives as many interstaters the chance to need to take as little time off work/responsibilities as possible, while still giving us at least the minimum time required to see (at least) a respectable amount of what Tasmania has to offer – it does, honestly have the best roads in the world (weather permitting). Melbourne and Tasmania based attendees may need no time off. Other states may need a day at each end. This cruise also tries to fit in some “Touristy Stuff” as well (Port Arthur, Cascade Brewery) – if consensus is that that time would be better spent using our rubber instead of our eyes/wallets then it is definitely subject to change. Updates will be posted in this first post and the itinerary may change over time as necessary - so please check back regularly on this first post DATES: Friday Evening 22nd April (Melbourne Depart)/Sat 23rd Morning Devonport Monday 25th Evening (Devonport)/Tuesday Morning 26th April (Melbourne Arrive) It will be possible to join/leave the group at any time if your travel/work commitments demand different nights travel on the boat. Extending the time way to see more of the island is also possible/recommended. DESCRIPTION: This 3-day extended weekend (not including the travel nights) cruise takes a clockwise driving tour of Tasmania Day 1 Sat (off the boat) will be (tentatively) from Devonport – Launceston, Scottsdale, St Helens, then down the east coast (possible detour to Freycinet – time/weather/reality permitting) to Eaglehawk Neck for the night. Day 2 Sun is “tourist day” (subject to better offers or popular dissent). Eaglehawk to Port Arthur, then back to Hobart via Cascade Brewery, dinner at Mures. Day 3 – Mon – Dawn service in Hobart for Anzac Day (for those up in time) then onto Queenstown, Strahan and towards the boat up the west coast (my favorite part of the cruise). Specials/deals available for groups of 2 or more booking together) Sat Night - Eaglehawk Neck - variety of rooms/prices available, but get booking in ASAP. Obey all laws whilst on the cruise; this means no speeding, no overtaking over double lines (no matter how safe you think it may be), etc... 2. There is a designated lead car who will lead the way and set the correct pace for all cruise members. 3. Use the Buddy system - always make sure you can see the car in front and behind you. This will give people behind you an indication on where to turn to make sure nobody gets lost. 4. CB Radios - if you don't have one, follow the maps and directions given out. It is highly recommended to have CB as it enhances the enjoyment of the cruise being able to hear about road hazards and join in on the general *cough* banter *cough* 5. Please turn up to the meeting points with a sufficient fuel in your tank and enough time before the departure time. 6. Onus is on the owner/driver to ensure their vehicle is safe to drive on public roads and meets State road traffic authority compliance laws. 7. Please ensure you have a contingency plan if you have a breakdown or unnecessarily delayed. e.g. Roadside Assistance or a mate in another car who is willing to stay with you/drive you home if necessary. 8. Saw the Top Gear episode yesterday that had the new host on it as a guest. Came across as a limp wristed nancy. Was happy to hear LeBlanc was another of the hosts - not a fan of his or anything, just gave me a bit more confidence.
