View from my desk About 100 kids each arvo walk from the bottom left to the top right. 2 PokeGyms in the park across the road. Corner on the right hand side seems the be the place to gather to work out which way to go to catch whatever's around. About half the kids have their faces stuck in the phones while walking. Security cameras have a great view of the intersection for Funniest Home Videos when the inevitable accident occurs (is a very busy intersection)

Am too old to have been into it, but have been dealing with it for 20+ years through the kids. Eldest is late 20's and he was into it from the start with the cards and the cartoons. Youngest is 16 and followed in his brothers footsteps all the way through to the latest DS games. Middle boy was also into it. I'm pretty sure I could name the original ones just through association - wouldn't be able to go much beyond them (kids were old enough that I weren't dragged into the new ones) Pretty sure the cartoons are still being made as well. Am just enjoying seeing the older kids re-ignite their love and the younger ones finding out for the first time.

I liked it when I heard that it made the Hells Angels clubroom in NSW a place to go to. And the Westbro Church in USA Wonder how the Amish will deal with the influx lol. Am tipping they'll have no idea what a pokemon is or why there are some at their town hall

WMMFG: Pokemon Go (no, I'm not playing it) Every afternoon the school kids walk past my place on their way home - that's normal. Now there's apparently 2 PokeGyms in the park outside my office (loungeroom) window and a couple of spots to find other pokemon pretty close. Now all the kids who walk past have their head stuck in their phone until they get to the corner. Once at the corner they seem to bunch together, chat amongst them selves and make decisions on which way to go. Am sure it's got kids talking to other ones that they'd have never even spoken a word to. Year 12 students chatting with year 7 students, random groups talking to each other. I reckon this is going further towards a sense of community amongst the children and teens than any government or do-gooder outreach program ever did.

Excellent Definitely one of those shows that are best done on a binge though - might see if I can wait and line up a few episodes at once
