  1. Am bloody tempted to ask for day surgery, put me under, fix everything, send me home with a pack of endo's
  2. Yep. No need to rush to get off the line when you're lining it up either. You're not racing the other car, nor the green light (time for that later)
  3. Ralph pretending to be someone pretending to be Ralph - perfect deniability Does the IP logging show the glitches? (as in Ralph being at different IP's?)
  4. Hahaha Isn't whipped cream CO2? Am in Frankston - can probably just grab some gear off the others in the waiting room.
  5. Tried that - mentioned the scotch and the valium Didn't help much :S Do any still use NO2?
  6. Yep - I was Ralph a few seconds ago too Post in the "Forum Issues" thread
  7. Yep - the dentist I was using is regarded as one of the best around locally - can't get in there without basically being related to one of his existing clients. As far as I can tell - every bit of work he'd done to me over the years has been sh*t. About 5 fillings have fallen apart. (probably 3 fillings and 2 repairs to those fillings after they spat it) Never had an issue with dentists before he reamed me over.
  8. My son is - hooked up to his lappy, his xbox and whatever else he has. Hasn't missed a beat in 3?? years Usually just uses a wireless mouse/keyboard from the bed to watch youtube etc with the TV acting as a monitor for the lappy. Or the chromecast to stream them from his phone if the lappy's not hooked up. One of his mates drops in with whatever shows on the usb stick and it's just plug in and watch. (I think it's a Soniq - whatever brand JB had as their "Special Buy Store Brand" at the time - all much of a muchness) I like JB so got their one. Personally I just use a 27" monitor on the bedside table hooked into the lappy as my bedroom TV - streaming and Foxtel GO and I find it perfect.
  9. Really? Tooth extraction: numbat shattered the tooth and shoved it up into my sinus's had a nice hole between my jaw and my nostrils for a while there. surgery to get the bit extracted Root canal: "Ok - nerve's dead now, we can go in" Guess what - it wasn't Worst pain ever - seriously - went from numb to 25/10 on the pain scale. Almost flattened the dentist. Seriously - am a grown man and not a wimp with stuff, but from the time after that I'm in cold sweats and shaking heading towards the chair. First time I went back after the root canal (for an "emergency" toothache/filling) I was that shaken I had a bottle of scotch and half a pack of valium (had some left over from back surgery) the night before. Passed out cold on the way back to the car after the procedure :S
  10. Am the same - TV, phone, monitors and other stuff all Samsung. For a kids bedroom TV though - $600 for a 32" Samsung I couldn't justify - thus the Soniq (or whatever store special brand)
  11. Well played (whoever "corrected" the title)
  12. WPMO: Have been putting off some major dental work for ages (previous dentist must have been real dodgy - about 3 of his fillings have fallen out among other stuff) I keep planning on getting round to it, but use the excuse of sole trader/no time Usually wait until something lets go and the pain forces my hand. Friggin dentist rang me today to remind me it was time for a checkup (they fixed the last "emergency" about a year ago) Used my usual excuse "too busy - can't leave the office during business hours" The girls answer pissed me off: "we're open late mon/tues and open every 2nd sat" Farkin devastated - no excuse not to go to the dentist now :(
  13. Am so fscking sick of Peppa friggin Pig Worst part is - the episodes only last about 5 minutes before the theme song pops back up again - aaarrghhhhh Bub's away for a few days - took me 20mins yesterday morning to realise I didn't have to watch Dora and could change the channel
  14. If I didn't have a plate on the bike already I'd probably do it for the lols
  15. Depending on her age - even one of the cheap ones with a built in DVD player may be perfect if that's about what she'd be likely to use herself. @JETURBO Is she more likely to watch the same Peppa Pig DVD (or whatever kids watch these days) or more likely to be wanting to jump on youtube, netflix, facebook etc? All well and good having the tech to support everything, but if she's not at the age where she has a phone/tablet/laptop a simple, dumb, cheap screen maybe all that's needed. Less than a couple of hundred bucks and lasts a year or so may be fine. I've always found bedroom TV's for the kids to be great birthday/xmas pressies - every couple of years there's always a decent upgrade option for them that's pretty cheap. As their usage grows, so do the options available for budget prices.
  16. Extender, chromecast, WDlive, Smart TV, PC etc will come down to the kids age/ease of use with tech.
  17. You're welcome to ship it here and I can on send it to you if desperate.
  18. For a kids room you can't really go wrong with one of the Soniq ones from JB $299 - 43" refurb Should play most things off USB How old is she? would internet/youtube be a big deal? Google Chrome Cast for $50?? and she can send it all straight from a phone/tablet/lappy etc
  19. Not all that much higher than Brembo's by the time you add in rotors and lines. Am sure any of the 6 pots would have been perfectly fine for what I really require, but meh - wanted something a bit different to the norm.
