Still enjoy watching great games - just don't care as much now who's playing. As long as we can all hate Collingwood then we can still be friends.
-
Thus the lack of attendance. We used to have seats at Etihad/G - they got used most weeks and been to a few GF's Salary cap crap and Elliott leaving took most of the fan out of me - still waiting/hoping for the "rebuild" - instead they trade the good players out. One day I'll get back into it (once they earn it)

It's on the telly most weekends. Haven't been to a game since 2015 though
-
Will do an Eddie McGuire this week and ignore it.

Cheers bud - seemed to be fixed there for a while.

Hahaha. Usually it shows you logged in as someone else, but when you move off the page/topic you're on it'll log you out or go back to your own login. Usually only bother posting here when the glitch sticks (keeps you logged in as someone else when you go to a new thread/post etc) @CJF077 - Any chance you could check if the back end caching has turned itself back on again?

Don't think of it as a metric or competition so wouldn't be tempted. Other than that - doing anything other than notifying in this thread the logging off while on another persons account would be a huge break of trust.

Or when signed in as Ralph I could go through my history and "like" everything

Hydro setup?

Seems to be a pretty common technique.

Yeah - used a few bags Australia day in the pellet smoker (was pellets, not chips) Not cheap (as in they're way overpriced) and I find a blend of the "normal" wood chips and/or pellets to be at least as good, usually better. (usually use wood chunks or pellets, not chips these days) Mate was over for that BBQ and interested in the different wood chips for his distilling - he's going to check the prices on the ones for distilling vs the ones for smoking. Brought with him a whisky he made with cornflakes (trying to clone JD) and a spice rum he'd made. Both were about 60% and something of an acquired taste

Mexican Invasion '17. Vic/SA cruise 24-27 March 2017 **UPDATED**
Rab replied to Rab's topic in South Australia
Ok - will be starting to look at accommodation and routes over the next week or so. At the moment I'm thinking somewhere close to Adelaide and the Hills for Friday and Saturday nights. Mexican for dinner Sat night when the locals and interstate stragglers should be with us. Fri/Sat - Will probably look for cheap motel rooms or cabins at a nearby caravan park unless anyone has local knowledge/recommendations of any places to go. We'll be 2 nights here so a bit of comfort could be good. Somewhere between the Hills and Adelaide. Warrnambool - will look for somewhere cheap near food/pub etc unless anyone has local knowledge/recommendations of any places to go. Will have my son with me for the trip so will probably have a full room, but if you guys want to talk amongst yourselves to look at sharing rooms/costs it may work out well for you. Not being at the same venue to sleep isn't a real issue, but makes it a lot easier the mornings and allows for some decent chit-chat after the driving. I've got spare beds/couches/kennels etc at my place if anyone needs a place to crash in Vic on the Thurs before the drive over or the Mon after we get back. Might end up taking the Queenscliff Ferry to Sorrento Monday arvo depending on time and interest. Quick run through the Mornington Peninsula before saying our goodbyes would be a great way to show some of the interstaters more of our backyard before they take their leave and head back to the borders. If anyone isn't listed as "coming" or "maybe" on the 1st post that's interested then let me know (I'll add you). If anyone listed as "coming" is no longer interested or available then let me know (I'll remove you) If anyone has any requests as to places, roads, sites, breweries, cafe's, restaurants, wineries, attractions etc they think we should visit or see while we're on the cruise then please let me know and I'll look into incorporating it into the weekend. -
I use this one mostly (includes Aussie woods)

Plum for sure - not sure on the lemon though. edit: apparently lemon is great for fish, just go easy on it the 1st few times til you get a taste of how it goes http://bbq.about.com/cs/cookingtips/a/aa051097_2.htm

Yeah, don't use pine. Fruit trees are fantastic, aussie hardwoods or even grapevines or (untreated) wine/bourbon/whiskey barrel chips. Nothing wrong with the store bought chips either
-
Yep - the smoking box is a cheap, handy tool for the gas smoker If you have any tea-trees around your place then some chips from them make a fantastic smoke for fish or lamb. Otherwise some of the hickory chips from a BBQ shop are also a great starter. Mesquite chips for steak add a nice extra dimension to steak and beef Did 20 racks of lamb ribs for the blokes I had round for the Mundine fight on Friday and they were bloody fantastic.

Got a lid? Try smoking a trout or snapper on it with a smoker box. (Gas on low up the other end to keep it cool) Once I tried that on the gas bbq there was no going back https://www.barbequesgalore.com.au/bar-b-chef-stainless-steel-smoker-box-with-lid-bcsmbss edit: link for Franklin https://www.youtube.com/user/BBQwithFranklin?app=desktop (was too late to edit original post)

Subbed Look up Franklin's BBQ https://m.youtube.com/user/BBQwithFranklin Not many vids (think he started a TV show or something separate to YouTube, but really ignited my love for smoking over wood/charcoal.

There's 2 types of people - those who like getting up Monday morning and those who don't. The first group is wrong.

After the fight - before the result "If Green wins this I'll run home naked" - mate
