  1. It's one instance where rego/licence plate would make sense. Lycra, 110km/h zone, hard to see colours, riding in the middle of the road then dawdle into the oncoming lane. Am tipping he'd be the sort to be vocal about "cyclists rights"
  2. I slacken mine off when undoing it. Tighten it when putting it on. Only go the full-hog (seat back, tighten, seat forward) when spirited driving will be involved.
  3. Good news then Leaving Robe I had to brake for a couple of cyclists. Keith and Gary were wondering why I was pissed off with the 2 on the bikes. Keep in mind the dashcam makes things look further away than they are.
  4. Have a look at the hippy seed co's vids https://www.youtube.com/user/TheHippySeedCompany He's also got some sauces (haven't tried any sauces, but did buy seeds from him before) https://thehippyseedcompany.com/product-category/chilli-sauce/
  5. Haha - the hot ones looks interesting. Have got a few of the sauces they use on my shelf
  6. If you're going for taste - don't just focus on the Hab sauces - the "fruity flavour" of them can get a bit offputting after trying a few. You start to think "is that all there is" with regards to taste (other than the other ingredients in the sauces) Try Melbourne Hot Sauce (either a gift pack of pick your own) for some decent varieties - have got their smoked jalapeno on my desk for an "everyday" sauce at the moment. https://www.melbournehotsauce.com/ The 6-pack has a decent variety of flavours and heats
  7. The sauce is great - if used sparingly
  8. I slide my seat back, tighten the lock then slide the seat forward
  9. Ah sweet - how'd you find it? I find it takes so much tension off the arms and legs when you don't need to "hold on". Lets you concentrate on steering and peddling rather than keeping yourself in your seat.
  10. K31th and J@t in strong agreement?
  11. But - there's a landrover on a pole http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-11-24/keiths-landrover-on-a-pole-quirky-roadside-attraction/8055314
  12. Was going to add something like that to the post, but was driving by the time the picture finished uploading so just hit submit
  13. Picked up the bike this morning from having the "rat eaten loom" fixed and the bike serviced etc. Once I catchup on the work and sleep I missed over the weekend I'll be out for a ride Felt good to be back on the bike - even just the short ride back to the office from the shop.
  14. +1 for tyres Can you chuck the rears on (if the rears are in better nick) and see how it steers? Try mid/high 30's PSI and see if any better?
  15. Fark it was hard waking up this morning. Didn't realise how buggered I was til I got home last night and faded. Hopefully I'll be able to put up a quick run-down of the weekend tonight.
  16. Just in the door - knackered. Absolutely fantastic weekend - thanks to all. Writeup to come when I wake up.
  17. Once you find out the temp it suddenly feels hotter
  18. Shelblably probablably gets better mileage. See you tomorrow.
  19. Puff's arrived - grabbed a beer with him then got a call for work :( Am waiting for him to wander up and drag me away for another
