I got the boost AUX from Ford, installed the other week. I am extremely happy with it and as for the whine....I just tell people that it is the turbo ready to rock!!

I went into another dealer today as I am looking at getting a Focus for the better half (trying to convince her that a 6-speed manual turbo Focus will get her to mothers group in a lot more style....not looking good) and asked the sales guy if I buy a Focus form him, can he get me a XR Sports Wheel. He gave me nothing!!!

I dropped my car into today for its 45,000 service. Whilst I was waiting, I thought I would inquire about the XR sports steering wheel. The guy told me that they only sold 2 steering wheels, the Momo and the FPV. I didn't want the Momo as it's the standard with leather, I want the chuckier sports wheel. The guy said "yep, the FPV" and quoted me $1800!!! Does this sound right?

Hey guys, I know there are heaps of threads on mods and performance gains, however if I was to get a full exhaust, new intercooler and air filter (either BMC or K&N) on a stock auto XR6T, could I expect gains of 15%? Thanks

I'm currently getting just over 400 km per tank....but my fuel consumption seems to be getting worse, not better!! However, that could be due to my the ever increasing heaviness of my right foot. The reading on the trip computer is not spot on, by any means. One guy at Ford told me that he thinks it is a joke. Instead of being a reading directly related to driving, it can/is effected by other factors such as living in a hilly area. Look at the rolling fuel reading as you are going up a hill. I was doing bugger all and had the revs around 1500 and it showed 30+

Yeah, Lachlanj.......exactly the same. Ford guys didn't really know what is was. They thought the noise was too high for it to be suspension. I am taking mine back over the weekend. I have a June 04 build

Hey Doublek, How did you go with the squeek? Mine is creaking out of control. I took it in and they sprayed some 'special lube' (WD40 me thinks) and said it should work. However, the noise hasn't dissapated at all.
