  1. Anyone can beat a postie they are 80cc...I was talking about the 250cc bikes Ps: I tried advertising my ute for $32k and a car yard offered me $28500..that's why I still have the T. The $32k did allow me some room but I need $29800 or I will keep it for myself.
  2. Oh, you will find something to do with it I had to wait untill I put some K's on it before anyone would do the work. I'm sure I managed 3000km before the APS 2 kit went on. Why I did it - Everyone does it and because I can To find out what all the hype was about. People who have been in it say things like - "and you wern't giving it to it then were you". "You can really feel it pulling". "It's an airplane!" The best things are giving it to motor bikes, wrx'eses and cesners
  3. So what's the count at today? *biggrins* But honestly, I don't think anyone anywhere likes being overtaken and they will do stupid things to prevent it. That is not just Canberra btw, but most of Australia that I have driven. Ah well, Canberra has it's ups and downs, like any place, it's what you make of it that will determine if you like it or not. Cheers I like it and I'm getting used to it
  4. Yeah ! Me, my T and the CV8Z work car live in Queanbeyan ! The CV8Z sits outside of course Although, people here do not like being overtaken ! Countless round-a-bout rumbles have seen me now keeping score of the big fingers in my rear view mirror.
  5. Fully sick new PS2 game.
  6. Since my new house mate moved in, the place has been like a drop in centre. It takes me 20min to drive to work..100kph zone in the cool air of the morning...mmmmm...100 zone

    03 Xr6t $28990

Telstra vehicles can not have any mod's like tinted windows or personalised number plates. They have to be serviced on time and depending on the car, it may have used premo fuel all its life. At worst, it won't be as thrashed as an ex-cop car.

    Running In

I asked this question about a year ago and got some great and really in depth replys...Can anyone find the thread?
  9. That's my fear also... As mentioned above...They do seem like a firey lot or is that just the media feeding us ? I'm happy to pay the price of water cannons now if it means saving on rifles (and lives) later.

    Pimp My Ride

I think he need's a stainless drop tank
  11. It's just the rapes, gangs, beatings, stabings etc... Of late there seems to be a common factor. I know it's only a minority. Native Australians have tribe justice...Ie: You get speared once or twice by your own people. This growing country will go down hill fast if we don't get though on ALL Australians who cause this. Someone must know who's responsible for the initial acts of violence. The cop's can't do much. They are not prepared or equiped to repel this sort of action.. Maybe it's time to use the army in these situations.
  12. I always did wonder why all aps 2 kits made approx 280kw at the wheels weather they were manual or auto....hmm... Dont say "the engine was better" because I've seen it tooo many times. 1. Ford put better engines into auto's to compensate. Or 2. APS make sure all kit's (M or A) produce the same RWKW. Any Ideas anyone???

Move over Barlow and Chambers....Now we got VAN HANGIN ! Ps: It's all too late for me to ad my in depth comments.... It's not funny but it's true.
  14. How do I save it as a jpeg? I know its barbaric... but take a look ... it's only 40~50 years since aus hanged a man. It's their country and you can't plead iggnorance because it's being going on for years!...remember Barlow and Chambers ????
  15. WOW!...that's a big file... Anyone into a redneck/hillbilly file? fastshooter.wmv
  16. I bet he got the best photo's though...............sorry

Gotta love that employee discount. I had it on the first one and it hurts not having it now... I was just wondering would there be any advantage if a Ford employee you knew bought the car for you with their employee discount then sold you the car with say a small "spotters" fee? Is that illegal and would the savings warrent it. I don't know how much savings a Ford employee discount is. I imagine redoing the rego may be an few thousand after the sale, so that might negate any savings through an employee discount programme. Any comments from the gallery? In all the documentation I have read I haven't found anything saying how long you must have the car before selling it or anything like that. I estimate I saved around 5 grand through the program than what I could get with a well negotiated deal without it. Having to pay the stamp duty again would knock $1500 of it but there would still be a fair saving. So while technically you might be able to do it certainly is not in the spirit of the program and I doubt the dealer principal would be very happy about it if he found out either. I don't work for Ford. The deal I got through work stated that I must not sell within 6 months.

    Ford E-mail

Just got the e-mail from Ford inviting me to check out the new 6 speed auto. It's a $1200 option over the 6 speed manual. Wonder if manuals will still hold their price better in the future?

YEAH ! Ford ripped me off and made me think I was bending them over for getting a $5000 Ford partnership programme discount at the same time ! The best offer I've had is $28500 and the car is not even 1 year old (Dec 04) and has less than 21000km on it. The T just sits there now, waiting for a new home, while I drive my new work car. I wonder what a 2 year old T with less than 21000km will fetch?
  22. When the ute is inside..I can just fit in front and behind it.
  23. Poor bugger ... I get over 700km with 12 litre smaller tank :spoton: Well, I was just guessing I might have made the 750 but I wasn't keeping count really.
  24. This is good to hear! I'm selling a MKII right now As for fuel... The UTE showed 740km to empty on the highway. I easily get 650km to a tank on the open road.
