How strong is the running gear? My XR6T 6sp manual was ok with the APSII kit although needed a better clutch I feel. The 5 speeds were breaking and the autos need beefing up if I remember. My question is, how is the AWD system going to cope over a long term??

Oh. I tried to option the sound but the salesman said it couldn't be done as the car was already built. He also said something about "only being able to listen to one CD at a time anyway" but we all know what can happen when trying to change a CD while moving.

The MKII Ute does not have traction control and I have no idea what EBD is but the MKII does have ABS. If you want to be controled all the time, why not just learn to adjust your foot?

I thought a 1/4 mile was 402.336m. As already said I doubt that anyone buys a car only based on it's 0-100kmph or 0-400m times. But it is an interesting fact that a lot of people look at. All the magazine articles I've read have these times printed but they also get right into the handling and all round on road performance of the vehicles. That's why the FPV's are judged better everyday cars than the HSV. True, the 400m times are not the only thing people buy cars for. There is the KW figure as well and fuel, seats, etc.. I'm selling a T with mods but not many options. If I was looking to buy, the idea of mod's would be great but some prefer big wheels and leather seats.

How long before we see you on here crying coz you've hit that front wall.. If I was you id be putting some bump stops in for your front wheels to take the guess work out of parking in there otherwise your going to get real cranky... only other option I could suggest would be reverse in with some reversing sensors..
