Stone chips and scratches really pi#$ me off. I have more scratches and chips on my FG in 7 months than what my VE had in 4 years! Will definitely be getting some touch up paint though, how much does it roughly cost?

May as well compare the VF to the BF, BA, AU etc, comparing apples and oranges. Its as bad as wheels magazine comparing the GTS to M5s and E55 AMGs -_-

Agreed I may only take mine on the track maybe once or twice a year, can't justify spending that much when im not going to use the coilovers to they're full potential. Wont be going XYZs either because as you lower the spring you also lower the shock and its travel length which is not ideal for me. Much as I dont want too might be back to pedders. Had them in my VE for 2 years and never had a problem with them until I needed to raise it 5mm for RWC. $830 later it passed and only one coilover was repaired -_-

G'day all! Fairly new to the forum and first time driving a Ford. Use to be a Expensive Daewoo man but test drove the XR6T and now I completely understand what all the fuss was about! Anyway hope to catch up with everyone, all my mates drive commonwhores so would be good to hang out with some like minded people haha Cheers, Luke

Nice right up mate! Do you have a sound file of the exhaust? I cant find one anywhere. Also this is probably a dumb question but is it painted mild steel or stainless steel?

I spoke to him last week and he wants me to book the car in for a service and a check over. I have a dyno print out that I showed him and he said it looks fine. Its An xr50 in nitro. All I know is the previous owner traded it in on a GS ute. Nah dont have a boost gauge unfortunately. I think it should be fine because it had a full service and road worthy before I bought it 2 months ago. Sorry to thread hi-jack!!!!

I bought bought it from a dealer in hastings and that's all they told me. It runs fine, just spools really loud and the exhaust rattles like hell. I spoke to Mick at Pit Lane performance as well. He believes it might not be stock. Will be booking it for a service and a check up soon.
