  1. The black stig has been revealed!
  2. What I want to know is when the XCAL2 and XCAL3 will be 'discontinued'. If you can't tell me when I want to buy the latest XCal how long it will last for, you won't get my MF money. I got $2K in my pocket right now for a tune. If no-one from this company can say an XCal3 will last for 1 year, or 2 years, or FA years, then they can get SFA. Has anyone ever heard what the product life is for these 'products'????? ws
  3. +1 for clay bar.
  4. I love the comments on some of those bass vids: "I love the smell of burnt voice coil" "No 40Hz junk" "I play this to pi$$ my neighbours off"
  5. If you CBF'd replacing subs/speakers/amps, you may want to consider adding Dynamat to the rear parcel shelf. I bought a wedge pack for $39 from ryda.com.au, but I haven't done it yet. Lazy me, it's sitting in the garage! ws PS: I found this was an interesting bass track: Boston Accoustics Bass Test CD: Woofer Cooker. It's hysterical. I play it on my laptop and don't hear any bass at all. Then plug in speakers and woah! In the car, with the stock BFII premo sound, I get worried the rear parcel shelf or spoiler will wobble off. You can really hear the vibration, and that's what the dynamat is aimed to fix.
  6. What is the absolute minimum that's required for an xr6t to run on pure E85? Forget about power, performance, whatever. To just reliably run on E85, what's required? Any difference between BA series 1 through to latest FG? xr6t vs f6?
  7. The only deep dish that matters:
  8. +1. All you dicks with yr poorly aimed HIDs, have a look at the oncoming traffic. If you can see the driver clearly, that means you're blinding him. And that guy that's giving you the finger? That's ME you munchers
  9. Mmmm. Seems possum's first post was right.
  10. Noticed another xr6t, or maybe an fpv with it's wipers on somewhere in sydney today. It was hard to tell....
  11. That's bad luck mate Is that 2 or 3? You're due for a good run !
  12. VUVUZELAS ROCK!
  13. The Yanks have a long and proud history in civil disobedience dating back to defying the British government to kickstart their own country. I'm just thinking aloud here....No offense to any posties intended. What if it didn't make it to your letter box? I mean, with normal mail, it is impossible to actually know or prove that something sent arrived at it's destination. Unless it was sent registered mail (secure post) and somebody signed on receiving it. So, let's say somebody sent me a fine, And I new nothing about it. I had never seen it, and it had definitely not been in my letterbox, you know what I mean? And this happened to LOTS of people. That would add up to a fair bit of money that the government wasn't collecting. Gee, I couldn't pay an alleged fine that I didn't even know existed! That's a bad problem. Maybe the government would have to send all those fines registered post. That would cost them a fair bit of money. And you'd just have to hope that there was someone at home that would sign for the receipt of that too. Anyways, like I said, I was just thinking.....
  14. Also, try not to park downhill. If it rains, water will settle there. I was washing mine today, nose was pointing downhill. Opened the boot when finished, and the water was all pooled in that area across the back sill to the left hand side. It couldn't drain away as the slope was at the perfect angle to hold it there!! It made me think of this very rust issue, as I always take a look for it when I'm washing the car. ws
  15. I had seen a post somewhere that a bloke re-torqued the wheel nuts to the factory spec, and that got rid of his brake shudder. Should be easy enough to check... ws
  16. Did you hit the accelerator again?
  17. This guy.
  18. XR6T BF2 just hit 20K. Not a misprint. No missing zeroes. I love my car
  19. Sometime in the last week, spotted a turbo or might have been a fpv with its wipers on.
  20. I used to always do 1 click, then I got what I thought was a dud pump and did a coupla clicks and then the fuel gauge went apehsit. I knew it was impossible that "The Thing" was full, so took it to another petrol station about 8kms away. It would only take about another litre :( I then ran the tank almost to empty. Ignoring the constant beeping from the stupid MF 'distance to empty'. Filled her up to the 1 click, and everything seems to be sweet again. Lesson:Do not fill up past 1 click. If you don't believe me, do some searches.
  21. Never even heard of the Accelera. Anyone ever tried them? Thoughts?
  22. That was funny as, but I was waiting for him to say that his mate had posted it on the internet and how everyone was looking forward to the Corey party. ws PS: Just read that Blockbuster one. ROFL!
  23. Yes, I would be careful about that type of thing. That would be fraud. I wouldn't expect any warranty on engine/driveline for a flashed car. You play, you pay! ws
  24. Bahahahaahahahhaahaha!
  25. Is it in the same spot on all doors, ie the top? Anyone got a guess on what might cause it? Is it the sun and/or heat? ws
