  3. Yeah it felt like a savage tune (if that's what ya call it) cos it was smoking tires instantly but I wasn't complaining... Hasn't been run down the track.
  4. I was about to ask the same question but you beat me to it. I went for a spin in a turbo BA yesterday with stock cooler, air box and piping and was shocked by how good it went. Owner said it had been tuned and had 310rwkw!

  7. Im getting my car ready for a tune so I'm on the market for a tuner. My mechanic has informed me that APS in Frankston has recently tuned a twin turbo v8 he built and was happy with the results (almost 1000hp). He isn't forcing me, just informing me. So my question is.. Anybody had their car or know anybody who has had a tune done there?
  8. Nice buddy, how did u go with the turbo? Did u do the flapper mod or upgrade the actuator? I sort of aiming for those figures with mine with just about the same amount of mods.
  9. Your kidding! Yep fg mk2. Been reading this forum and was convinced it was 15w40. You just saved me an embarrassing phone call. Might sound stupid but you wouldn't by any chance know why they decided to change the grade?
  10. Just got my xr6t ute back from the 3k service which I asked for the oil and filter to be changed. Got back home now and on the paperwork noticed it says they put 10w30 in it!! Prob not gonna hurt it as we are coming into the colder months but just annoyed. First and last time its been there and Im never taking it back.
