  1. Hey anyone got a spare tail shaft lying around with a good centre bearing, mine is f*cked and ford want $400 just for a new bearing! Also need a passenger side skirt the piece that has the XR6 badge on it , mine just randomly fell off the car the other day and I can't find it :( . Also would like a stock 6 speed gear knob, Ford want 300 for one !!

Cheers love the blue Daytona's , main reason I got the car was so I can do more track days , the boy's in blue are becoming more troublesome out in the hill's so trying to avoid losing my license My Daytona has the titanium arrow slip on , arrow rear sets, shorty lever's , red anodised rizoma grips and bar ends, stomp grip tank pads, race screen, and a few other anodised bits and bobs to make it look pretty. Does anyone know if its illegal to drive around with the tailgate down on my ute? The bike doesn't quite fit with it up :s

  5. Hi couple of question's, With the typhoon second snorkel , do you need to cut a hole in the air box ? or should you buy a typhoon air box with the snorkel ? If I was to get a high flow CAT installed on my stock exhaust, can a shop re-use the CAT in a aftermarket system later down the track ? With the flash tune , will the above mods be enough to get me a little more power? Is it best to get a tuner to supply the flash box, or would it be cheaper to buy online and can anyone give me a model/type that I should be using? NVT says this should cost around $2000 with around 240kw , but isn't the stock engine output 240kw? or is that just at the flywheel? Thanks
  6. Hey everyone , just thought I would make a quick post in here to say hello. New to the forum and the xr6t scene , just purchased a BA mk2 manual ute in "Blaze". , pretty stock at the moment apart from wheels and lowering but hoping to get some more power out of it soon, So I'm off to read the Tuner thread to see who I should be going to, anyway hopefully see you on a cruise sometime.     Hey everyone , thought I would join this site, for some info on mod's and stuff, and hopefully meet some other xr6t owners in Adelaide, I recently got posted here with the Army, originally from Perth . I just bought a BA mk II ute, manual , gold (Blaze) in colour with 20" wheels makes it a pretty rough ride. Im on a bit of a budget though as my main money pit is my Triumph Daytona , but from the very little reading I've done, I've decided first things on my shopping list will be CAI, bigger intercooler , exhaust system , injectors and a tune . I've never driven a turbo car before and I have to say I was expecting to be thrown back in my seat, but my ute is pretty tame at the moment, so would like a bit more power. I read somewhere that a lot of people put FPV intercooler's in over the stock item and I've found a second hand one for sale ($100). Is this something worth doing or should I spend a bit more coin and buy a brand new one or maybe an aftermarket one? I dont see why I would but would I need to get a tune done with the bigger cooler? I was hoping to do the CAI and cooler first then save up for a decent exhaust and tune . Cheers Tom
