  5. Hey peeps, got a pair of mickey Thompson et street radials, 275/40/17 on alloy 18" lookalike 17" rims, plenty of tread left, good on my car for a 1.6sec 60', $650 for em, get em just in time for the next street drags
  6. I have had the throttle jam flat out on a BA as well, was lucky I turned the car off straight away and rolled to a stop, once stopped I then heard a pop, the pedal just poped back up off the floor, I searched for the cause but never found a problem, and I have never been able to make it stick down again (while the engine not running of coarse), only incident after owning 2 BA turbos over 8 years, just a freak thing to happen I guess, and it can happen, in a panic and if it happens again to anyone here try to keep your wits and switch off the car and roll to a stop on the brakes
  7. Just have to find the time to get to Bruce's, when he saw my run at the drags he said bring it down for an e85 tune and run 6sec 1/8th mile, might try to get down soon the take it back to the track and fingers crossed for a 10sec 1/4 mile lol
  8. So are there any mods required to fuel lines (change rubber lies etc) or is it just a matter of filling up with e85 and getting a tune? Mods on my car is every thing bar rods, also walbro in tank pump and surge tank with Bosch 044, so assuming everything I have read I just need to take a Jerry of e85 then fill up and get a tune, is this right? Fixed.
  9. the only prob with the drags now is the price, he is pricing it out of some peoples reach
  10. hey Wayne, was the surge tank his design or did you use the drawing I sent to you? either way looks good and good price to, I got my pump and fittings from outlaw in the city

  13. see theres a vid on the tube with the black holden (old one, sorry dont know old Expensive Daewoo models, and dont care) the one I ran one time, he done the big burnout cross the start line and got booted off, typical Expensive Daewoo driver
  14. yeh, the hose was bloody dear, and your right it was a hell of a job getting the hose over the fittings, I remember thinking I hope its right coz this hose isnt coming off, and the tank and fittings were pressure tested to 110psi for 5mins in a bucket of water, no bubbles no pressure drop
  15. hey Jet, you upload the vid of my run? got a link?
  16. well I have used the correct rated hoses and clamps, it is safe, and that's what matters
  17. these are mounted external on the tank, not inside the tank
  18. are these clamps not rated for EFI aplications? The Tridon EFI part stainless perforated band clamp range provides superior design and proven reliability. Manufactured in Australia, the flexible stainless steel perforated band has an extended tang to cover the perforations and prevent hose damage on soft rubber hoses. Ideally suited for use on fuel and vacuum lines.

  22. hey Jet, would love to see/ get a copy of the run between me and toxicF6
  23. fitting the surge tank has made a huge difference to the car , after today at the drags it was very evident, last meet I ran a best 1/8th of 7.7@92mph with bad surging, today I ran a best of 7.4@96mph no surge issues at all, strong all the way to the end of the strip, last meet and today I was still running 60' of 1.6sec
  24. from under the car
  25. I mounted it in the same place as the PM and PW surge tanks
