Finally in my driveway. It's almost like having a new baby in the family, the amount of friends and family that have stopped by just to have a look First impressions. Well it's not a brutal as the T. In the T when I planted it the auto would kick back and the tyres would light up. I love the gear box in the Phoon especially driving in performance mode, slowing down is very cool the way the auto brakes the engine like a manual. The upshifts seem a bit lazy to me but after the T anything would. Or it could just take some getting use to. The ride seems a bit harder. I am use to 19's with low profile rubber so it must be the suspension. The brakes Holy Crap!!!!!! I've gone from standard brakes (with standard shudder) to 6 pot Brembos front and 4 pot Brembos rear. I reckon if you stood on the hard and you where older than me you'd your teeth would be sucked out! My T looked hot and got it's fair share of looks and finger pointing but everyone looks and points at this. Or perhaps my fly was undone again I love it! How cool is the starter button?

The car arrived today With this being by far the biggest purchase I've made over the internet I have been holding my breath for 2 weeks. It's everything the salesman said it was and not a mark on it! Thanks John at Allan Reekie Ford in Bowral.

I came up with my answer from when I had a problem with my TC light staying on. I took the car back to Nizpro, Simon said it wasn't a Edit fault! He sent me to Ford. Where they put the car onto their machine and it came up with the faulty ABS sensors. Once cleaned the problem was fixed. grepin at least you know the problem can be fixed

It's nothing to do with the edit (except for being able to spin the tyres for longer) If the car is under warrenty take it back to Ford and have them clean the ABS sensors on the front wheels this should fix the problem.

They now tell me next Thursday opp's wrong one should have been Look forward to it Steve

I'm with you Dags I had a look at a few in my search for A Typhoon. I like the look but they wanted too much for them $10k over a phoon is a joke, Most dealers I spoke to about them seemed to be having trouble moving them. There were demo's everywhere, all in Ego!

Thanks for the comments guys. I reckon it a great colour (had to get something as stand out as Phantom) I found an Ego one down here but I couldn't picture myself driving that. I had a look at the train timetable and it's a 10 hour trip to Bowral. So although the trip back would be fun the trip up would be crap!!! catch a flight to Sydney and the train to Bowral is an option I'll have to investigate. Anyone going from Melbourne to Sydney next week and want company? The options are the Dark Argent Wheels Big Brakes Tint and floor mats. I didn't want leather!

It's in Bowral! so it's a bit harder for me to get to otherwise I would. TNT will back load it for me for less than the cost of petrol so that's the way to go.

As some of you will be aware I sold my T via the site a couple of weeks ago. In the meantime I have been looking for a Typhoon with the options I want at the price I wanted to pay. Well the search ended today! I put a deposit down on this one. Now the wait begins It's in NSW. I should have it before next weekend
