  1. for hedlights yea. but for foggies their fine because foggies are more of a safety feature
  2. the auto headlights turn them on and off like normal lights, hence why they have the modules that's attached to them and ive had them for about 3 weeks and no probs
  3. nah never bothered with hibeams. I might one day but for now nah. its not like im gonna go bush bashing in this car so no need
  4. its up to you bro. I reckon personally get it repainted to a chrome to match your trims around your grill and all that because remember, its a luxury car and its meant to stand out as a luxury car. im gonna get my painted in chrome or even chrome dip it. because at the end of the day, we bought a luxury car that's meant to look classy, we dont want it to look sporty, we rather make it classy sleeper so for example, an SV6 p plater rocks up next to us and ya know hes got a loud exhaust blah blah blah, oh look growler cold air intake, lowered, still looking classy stock with rims, plant the foot and cya SV6 nugget. but in the end its your call. Because at the end of the day, its what under the bonnet, and how well you look after it which makes it run smoother, faster, more efficient and in general better. like premium full synthetic oil, a full flush of your ZF gearbox, our gear box is expensive to service roughly 900. im going to do a full flush of my gearbox personally, the stock fluid is Lifeguard6 or something like that, im swapping it for the transmax ZF gearbox fluid which is dear'er but alot of people who drag spec or track spec their gearbox use it, I was recommended it if I wanted to give my gearbox a really good workout to use that fluid. also like check your brake fluid, if needed flush it, better sparkies, better ignition leads, bigger brake rotors for our cars, we can use the XR6T or the G6ET brake rotors, all we need is a bracket which will move our calipers to fit into the right spot, drilled and slotted rotors, good brake pads, make sure the coolants always full. all the small things (yes I know blink 182 reference haha) we can do to our car which are minor, can make a very large difference to how well our car performs. My opinion spend the extra bucks on top quality engine oil and all these things. Think of it like this. treat your car as your child. you want whats best for it and for that to happen you gotta fork out abit of extra dosh.
  5. Depends. I recommend getting HID foggies without a doubt. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/H11-6000K-XENON-HID-KIT-FOR-FORD-FG-FALCON-FOG-LIGHT-XR6-TURBO-G6E-FPV-GT-F6-UTE-/120821302470?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c2182c4c6 their really good. plus they are pretty much plug and play and you put them into the same slot and just twist and it locks in. if your gonna get normal bulbs for your headlights like the normal H4.... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/XENON-HID-Upgrade-H4-H7-Lights-2-T10-LED-FALCON-EF-EL-AUBA-BF-FG-XR6-XR8-/330818270751?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d064e361f this kits pretty decent. led T10s, whiter than stock globes, and white hibeams. their not bad. for HID for your standard headlights http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/H4-6000K-BI-XENON-HID-KIT-FOR-2008-2011-FORD-FG-FALCON-XR6-TURBO-G6E-UTE-FPV-F6-/120818898855?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c215e17a7 is what I bought for myself.
  6. nothing yet apart from HID foggies, HID headlights, led t10 parkers currently saving for rims 20's staggered, maybe D2 coilovers, either herrod or growler cold air intake, bigger piping, hi flow cat, keeping the stock mufflers to keep it quiet, new extractors, new tip, flash tune it. that's about it for now till I can think of more lol
  7. Pedders are alright... but in my opinion theres better ones out there for cheaper. D2 in my mates project car for the coilovers, drag spec, the centre cylinder is so thick means it can take a good beating. But if you dont want coilovers, I wouldnt go bilstein shock and springs because you will lose alot of the comfort in your current suspension. Ok its pretty much down to this. do you want comfort or handling/performance? If you still want comfort, id go lowered lovells springs or king springs lowered, if you want handling and performance go bilsteins full shock and spring setup. and if you got the dosh (money) go coilovers from D2 or if you really dont care about money go pedders. personal opinion D2 are just as good as pedders. Im on my 3rd car at the age of 20 lol. first was a VR commodore. drove... like a tissue box. but the buwick engine in it was gold. 2nd was my AU II fairmont ghia which I wrote off not to long ago. and my current car. 2010 G6E in the god damn annoying to look after gloss black x.x. https://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=491459827563370&set=pb.100000980713202.-2207520000.1361079884&type=3&theater
