  1. yes sorted the boost leaks, there were a few at the joiner clamps on the hot and cold side piping, also the standard bov was leaking.. so ive removed it for now, but sounds waytoo loud for my liking. its running 339.9 rwkw. its was sitting at 360rwkw but in the top end was starting to boost spike. so he dropped it back. feels awesome at the current power, although struggle getting traction 1st and second gear. really starts to pull top end. it seems to be running rich, as the engine light stays on. so I think it needs to go back on the dyno to get the afr sorted. im happy with the power, atm lol
  2. going in for the tune on thursday, will keep you posted. just trying to find a boost leak since I put the cooler in, seems like I have less pull

  5. yes I was going to get ported and actuator upgrade but tuner said it would be ok to tune with out. plugs coils fuel filter? maybe ive over looked the simple things? these are suggested?
  6. for those intersted here is what I managed to pay, im sure if I was more patiant lol 4inch cold air intake in home made box, with 5inch k+n pod $150 (cheaper is u can source materials for free) 4inch dump, 5inch cat $500 275ltr intank fuel pump (this is the only thing im worried that wont support my power goal)? $160 rap1d systems high flow intercooler kit, with cold and hotside piping $1200 xcal3 flash tuner $550 braided turbo oil line $160 injectors installed at time of tune $450 $3170 not including tune
  7. so ive finally got all my gear together ready for my start of mods, has worked out cheaper than I though (tune and surprises pending)! im going to tune with Clinton @ ProFile Autosports + Tuning. im looking between 300-350rwkw, so hopefully the gear I have will get me there? 4inch cold air intake in home made box, with 5inch k+n pod4inch dump, 5inch cat275ltr intank fuel pump (this is the only thing im worried that wont support my power goal)?rap1d systems high flow intercooler kit, with cold and hotside pipingxcal3 flash tunerbraided turbo oil linethoughts>>?

  10. I just bought a xcal3 second hand, it was used in a automatic, but I have a manual. will this matter?

Real Dyno Performace, Or Profile Autosport + Tuning? just wondering peoples experience with these two tuners? heard good things about both, just trying to decide between them? work to be done: 4inch dump + high flow cat xcal 3+tune 60lb injectors 275ltr intank pump rapid high flow cooler hot side piping 4inch cold air intake, drivers side in custome box new oil line+filter deciding on flap, wastgate mod. depending on tuners thoughts looking for 300-350rwkw your experience and thoughts would be awesome! thanks

  15. ahh ok. well these are the mods im thinking I should start with to get -dekka 60lb injectors -WALBRO RACING 275 LPH fuel pump GSS340(direct drop in for factory) -cold air induction (in same position as factory) -larger front mount intercooler (HDI ok?) -x3 flash tuner (heard mixed reviews about INTUNE tunes?) -have been told turbo oil filter and line should be replaced due to stock ones blocking? -dyno tune will all that be ok? and if necessary ported waste gate/flapper/actuator kit. ive been quoted $415, if I remove it myself.

  17. ah ok, thanks! what exactly does doing that do? I know help with over boosting probs, but is it also just for better flow? any added HP by doing this?
  18. wont you need to get a larger flapper and ported? also stronger actuator? im trying to upgrade mine to a 4inch too, but this is what the tuners are suggesting. does that sound right?

Thanks! you all make it sound quite easy lol sweet I think ill stick with the dekkas(checking with my tuner) and go the 4inch dump+cat. rednose did you have to do turbo work, ie flapper and waste gate? how much will I be looking at for that do you think? spinr33 how did you go installing the fuel pump in your ute?? heard its quict a big job. thanks again for your advice!
  20. thanks for the quick response guys! humm I think id be happy (I guess we all say that before wanting more) with 300-350rwkw. so also recommended is a surge tank too? ill check out the process west intercooler kit I appreciate your input guys!!! id like to get all the gear ready to save on multiple tunes, so this may be a lengthy process lol
  21. Hi guys, im new to all this so im hoping im posting in the right section etc... I know its prob already been covered somewhere in here... just purchased 07 f6 tornado, looking at a few MODS. not after any crazy power, just a bit more with out having to upgrade internals etc. From searching through this forum, ive come up with what I think it will need to get me started but, need some more knowledge as mine is very limited lol ok, ive seen some different opinions on this one- Dump pipe, 4inch (is a replacement dump pipe necessary or stock sufficient?) wast gate actuator, and flap needs replacing to do so?
