Thanks mate I've been around for a couple of years I just don't post that often. I had my car tuned about 2 years ago by cms , 340kw 11.2 @ 124mph. Lol I still have the air box at home .I'm enjoying the sound at the moment , I don't think I will be putting it back on anytime soon.Yeah I will let you know . I won't be able to make it next week . Have you taken your car to full throttle Friday before ? Not sure on what tyres to run , the tyres I have at the moment are 275/50/17 . When I had the standard turbo the car went two tenths slower and lost two mph compared to when I was running 275/40/17 . The taller tyre made the car go slower . Maybe now I'm making more power the 28 inch tyre (275/50/17) might work better ?

Thanks guys . These cars are deceiving , seat of the pants doesn't really tell the full story . It's not until you pull next to another car that you realize how much quicker they are compared to your average quick factory powered car. The standard zf is shifting well , really happy with the latest zf tune that Joe has put in the car.

Lol thanks mate, photos were taken today . I had the exhaust painted black and used the factory tip. I try and keep the car looking standard from the outside. Brakes are still standard , they really need to be upgraded .

Recently had my car back at cms for some more mods . The car made 432 kw on e85. The car has the following mods Precision 6235 turbo Pw stepped intercooler Pw turbo side intake 300lph intank pump Pw surge tank with twin 044s Pw fuel rail and fpr 1200 ID 1000 injectors Advance 4 inch stainless dump and cat , xforce 3.5 inch stainless cat back exhaust. Zf tune and pwr heat exchanger. Nice smooth power and usable on the street . I will try and get to WSID in the next couple of months and give the car a run. I'm really happy with the service from Joe and the boys at CMS.
  7. Have you checked where the mount is welded to the dump ?, they can pull away causing a hole in the dump pipe. I have an advance dump on my fg and I don't get any of the noise you're talking about .
  8. Nice. How did you go at the track with more power and the r888's ?
  9. I don't take too much notice as I only drive it on the weekend , but I think it's normally around 400km
  10. Two years on e85, I don't have a 98 tune. If you don't drive the car every week I'd recommend adding some Lucas safeguard to the tank . Before I started using it the car would run rough and stall after not being driven for a few weeks but since I've been using it the car runs perfect even if I don't start it for a month. I'm guessing it must do something to the injectors. Nothing negative so far , all the hoses still look good.
  11. I've driven about 200km since having it fitted . It's not too loud while cruising around off boost , it has a nice deep note. I have put sound deadener from the back seat to the boot , it hasn't made a massive difference but I think it's worth doing as it has reduced road noise as well . I think if you're really fussy and want to keep the car quiet you can't go past the standard cat back. My car ran 11.2 with the standard cat back and turbo . Chris said that it should perform better if he changed the twin section into a single and redone the section where it goes over near the diff .
  12. Lol that's my car. After talking to him about a couple of different exhausts he recommended the 3.5 inch stainless cat back (not the polished version) and paint it black. The car already had an advance headers 4 inch dump and cat. I try and keep the car looking as standard as possible on the outside that's why I kept the standard tip Car is going in next Tuesday to get tuned , I'm hoping for around 450kw.
  13. I don't have any insurance for my dog and it does get expensive . It's given the car mods fund a bit of a hit over the past few years. Hip replacement $6000 Cruciate ligament in her knee $4000 twisted bowel $3500. As well as about 4weeks off work to look after her while she recoverd. It's worth it though , she's part of the family.
  14. I Think I must have one of those limited edition ford diffs with extra noise
  15. Sydney suspension installed mine (formerly wholesale suspension) . I just get the wine , no clunking noises. Might have to join stripes and buy a Expensive Daewoo lol
  16. Yeah my diff made zero noise with the standard bushes
  17. The suspension shop that installed mine have a good reputation . So I didn't think to questing the install. I've put sound deadener from the back seat to the boot , you can still hear the wine but doesn't sound as high pitch. It has cut down on road noise a bit too so I'd say it's worth it but don't expect it to fix the noise from the diff. It might just depend on if you get a good diff from the factory as some people don't seem to notice anymore nvh once they have fitted superpro comfort bushes
  18. And it's only $1495 for the stainless cat back system . It's 4inch where it goes over near the diff but the rest of the system is twin 3inch. I would just need to get it modified to fit my 4inch dump plus twin cats
  19. The extra mufflers should keep it quieter than a single 4inch
  20. The other option I was thinking of was to get the twin 3inch xforce cat back that they make for the s/c v8 . And use my 4inch dump that I have on the car already and run a twin cat setup but I'm not sure what kind of note it would produce.?
