  1. Must of plugged his tyre as well as his eyes
  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq7UuEvB7Fg&feature=youtube_gdata_player Serial pervert con man hahahaha
  3. So is it that loud that it could become annoying sometimes ?? I guess it would depend on the person ?
  4. Yeah same I've never heard of anyone that's had issues, I've just always been fussy with Tyres on a bike. Im not sure what effect it would have on the tyre when your doing 250+kmh and if it would increase the chance of it failing ,but that's illegal so you shouldn't have to worry about that lol.
  5. Only 500km , that sucks. Yeah I guess just run it by the shop and see what they say. I was at the track once and just had a new slick put on the rear and didn't leave it on the warmers long enough and destroyed the Tyre in about six laps . Not really relevant but that's my bad Tyre story lol.
  6. Yeah you can just plug them the same way you do a car. It just depends on what you use your bike for, I could never ride the bike hard with confidence on my favourite piece of road knowing my tyre is plugged . But if its just cruising aroud or for commuting it should be fine
  7. Aus superbikes pretty much start off as a standard road bike then they remove all the road gear and fit race glass, upgrade suspension and slicks as well as full exhaust ( im not sure what the rules are as far as enging work goes but if any I think its minimal) Then you have world super bikes which have more work done to them and after that its gp bikes whick are completly different to the road going cbr1000. But at the end of the day f1 cars are heaps quicker than any bike
  8. Dubbed the "Aussie Speed Showdown", Webber will race his Red Bull Formula One car against Stoner, who will be riding a Honda CBR1000RR superbike (not a MotoGP one), against V8 champion Whincup, who will drive his Red Bull-branded V8 Supercar. Off the top gear website
  9. Yeah it is a cbr1000 it would probably just be closer to aus superbike spec. Definitely not a gp bike
  10. I remember a few years ago one of the top aus superbike riders was lapping in the 1.36s on the gp circuit on a standard cbr 1000. I think v8 sc are around the 1.30s
  11. A standard one off the show room floor wouldnt lap as quick as a v8sc . With suspension work and slicks it would be pretty close at a track like EC with a rider like stoner. As far as a straight line goes most late model 1000cc sports bike are capable of high 9s over the 1/4 with a gun rider and that's a standard road bike.
  12. I'm pretty sure stoner is just riding a cbr 1000 and not his gp bike. But even if he was the f1 cars still lap a fair bit quicker than a gp bike
  13. If that's the case go for more power than 298kw , that way if you get a bit out of shape you can steer it on the throttle and grab the next gear without backing off . I've found with a bit more power the car is easier to drive.
  14. http://thechive.com/2014/02/24/caitlin-rice-worked-hard-to-get-her-instagram-account-in-the-spotlight/ So fit.
  15. What happened , car didn't like the extra power??
  16. I don't know how accurate any of this info is as im only going off what the car tells me ( outside air temp) and the air intake temp that the torque pro app is showing. My car is still running the standard fg turbo 17psi tapering to 12psi towards the top end on E85 . And a stage one process west stepped cooler. After driving the car for about 40min with a bit of spirited driving in that period I turned on the torque pro app and done 4 back to back runs in 3rd gear wot from 80kmh to 160kmh. ( I could only do it 4 times as the brakes hardly worked after the 3rd run .) The display in the car was showing outside temp was 27c°. Towards the end of the 4 th run while under wot the air intake temp was showing 36c°on the torque pro app.
  17. You will find with with the standard turbo that you will get no sensation of a top end if your smashing my date in early because once you get to around 5000rpm its out of it efficiency range . So if your driving in auto and just put your foot to the floor it will feel very flat because your spending too much time in the top of the rev range. Try shifting manually ( im assuming its a zf 6 speed) at 5000rpm . But then again the small turbo on 98 can feel pretty gay , so go and get an e85 tune lol. Post up your dyno graph and who tuned it
  18. I've have this sitting in my garage, I haven't driven it since 2005 it was my first car so I don't think I will ever sell it . Just not really interested in driving it because its too slow . Maybe do a xr6 t engine conversion lol Vs Late model camira v6 vortech surcharger front mount cooler.
  19. that's interesting, I wonder why a lot of big powered r35 gtr's run bar and plate coolers.
  20. Yeah im with ya amm I don't know what game this PW guy and Joe are playing at I bought a PW Cooler and Joe tuned my car. I took it to the track and only managed to run an 11.2@ 124mph. I thought with my high performance standard air box , standard fg turbo and standard cat back exhaust I would of went heaps quicker. Im off to buy a new cooler and find a new tuner.
  21. Im pretty sure nizpro coolers are bar and plate . From what I've read they do their own R&D so there must be some reason why they prefer bar and plate design. And their cars have run some impressive numbers at the track.
  22. Is it possible to set up an e-boost2 and use the boost by gear ??
  23. Nope , but pretty close to the edge at the start
  24. Crazy, im only running the pw stage 1 stepped cooler and haven't had that issue, it must perform better than plaz stage 2
