  1. Lol nothing can beat putting diesel in a bike im laughing pretty hard , I've never heard that one before.
  2. If not you might have to go back again .
  3. Did you have 100% 98 in the tank when you had the tune checked . Lol
  4. Yes , 9.5 is what mt recommend for that tyre
  5. If you want to run a 28 inch tyre you will have to remove the plastic that's inside the guard . And depending on what size tyre you have on the front it could make your abs play up , but you can always just pull out the fuse .

Lol that makes the power figure even more impressive.

    Willo88's G6E T

Yeah I think he is running turbo side intake, pw 3 cooler and 4inch exhaust.

You probably have different supporting mods , as in cooler , exhaust , intake ??
  9. If you're still running the factory 19s maybe try going for a taller tyre and run a 245 40 19. Im running my invos at around 30 -32 cold and they grip ok.
  10. Hopefully the extra 60kw is enough to dip into the high tens . Previous set up ran 4 passes at 11.2
  11. Because they're easier to light. Exhaust will be getting upgraded , but first I will see what time this straw runs .
  12. Yeah I love the standard cat back exhaust, so quiet when just driving around normally and when I accelerate the only thing I can hear is the turbo side intake. I really want more power so I will probably upgrade the exhaust in the future. Needs more pull in 3rd and 4th . I've had a couple of road bikes in the past and I guess im kind of looking for that kind of acceleration and at the moment the car doesn't come close.
  13. Yeah its hard to say what it would be like on a manual car . I've never driven a manual xr6t so im not sure how they are geared and if you would lose much down low. Id be happy to take you for a drive but I live a couple of hours north of Sydney.
  14. What's happing Thursday , cat back exhaust and re tune ?? Joe said that the standard cat back exhaust was at its limit , so im guessing that by running more boost it wouldn't achieve much until I upgrade the exhaust.
  15. I forgot to get the graph while I was there so I can only go by how it drives. My standard turbo was running 17psi then tapering down to around 11 or 12psi towards the top end making around 340kw . So the power delivery between the two is completely different . Overall the car feels quicker even from a standing start , really happy with the tune Joe has done on the car ,the power comes on strong and smooth so it makes it easy to get the car down the road at a good pace without too much wheelspin . Feels like it just squats to the bump stops and the back just walks around a bit while trying to get traction in the first three gears but with really good forward drive.
  16. Surprised we haven't crossed paths while driving around . Yeah mate I really like it , perfect for the street . I don't miss the standard turbo at all. I would like a bit more power so it probably wont be long before I go back for full exhaust and hopefully get around the 450kw .
  17. Picked my car up from cms on Saturday. (FG xr6t) Valve springs Pw turbo side intake Precision 6235 Pw stage one stepped cooler 4 inch dump and standard cat back exhaust Made just over 400kw on 17psi on E85. Obviously the standard cat back exhaust is holding it back but while cruising at lite throttle the car is not really any louder than standard. Really impressed with the amount of traction available , even with the cold weather today I was able to roll on full throttle in second with minimal wheelspin.
  18. So you can use the brakes more than once with upgraded pads and discs ? Im getting brake fade half way through the first application (standard discs and pads)
  19. Yeah the pac ones look like a good option. Plazmaspring and precision 6235 going on this week so hopefully they last for a while.
  20. OEM valve springs have approx 50 psi seat pressure, once 15 psi is added to this equation (which acts against the valve spring), approximately only 35 psi seat pressure is left. This is nowhere near enough to keep the valves shut at high rpms 85-90 psi installed height of the new springs, some 75% more stiffness Highly recommend for 320+rwkW applications Pulled off the plazmaman site .
  21. I asked cms today what valve springs they use and they said plazmaman , so I guess they must be ok.
  22. Lol I think all that Matt is saying is that it wont hold that kind of boost in the top end. Any time I've had an issue with my car that I can't work out I just take it to my tuner, it works out cheaper and easier in the long run. As they have the tools and the knowledge to work out what the issue is rather than just guessing.
