Im in Auckland NZ bro haha, I was gonna get CTB Performance or PWR to have a look at it,

checked it on the weekend and there is a little bit of shaft play, so its gonna be f****d soon, contacted ford for a new turbo and they kept urging me to get a engine rebuild? any advice would be helpful on that. I thought just get a new turbo back on then back to full boosting again

Would a recond one be better then a new one?

Gonna check tomorrow, if there is shaft play what would that mean?

Nahh yet but Im gonna try that tomorrow, its only my first car so Im still learning stuff about cars engines etc What is shaft play haha

Hey I own a 2004 Ba xr6turbo custom tune at 10psi, exhaust etc when I first bought it at 66,000 ks was going good. I have a aftermarket oil feed line from Issac Performance Now when underload the turbo makes a loud clutter sound like its starving oil, so I had my oil line cleaned and new oil, and its still doing the same thing, is the turbo on its way out? taking it to ford is my last resort
