Hey guys just want to ask a few questions about the porting of the wastegate and the flapper mod also upgrading the actuator. I have a Fg Xr6t running 328rwkw (16psi) and sometimes when I give it a boot full it feels like it dumps boost for a second and then goes again. I'm guessing this is the standard actuator not coping and opening the wastegate under boost? Cheers guys

hey guys looking to get a new set of wheels for my mkii xr6t sedan. just trying to find some advice on what will fit without rubbing. car is at standard height at the moment but will be getting it lowered once the wheels go on, wont be crazy low, just so it sits nice. the wheels I'm looking at getting are the lenso D1R in a 20" x8.5 20" x10. but don't really know much about offset ect and just wondering will they fit, will be buying them online as I cant seem to find anyone in perth that actually sells them so just want to make sure I order the right ones. any help would be much appreciated, also if anyone has these wheels on there car would it be possible to add some photos so I can see how they sit. cheers

hey guys got a mk2 FG xr6t and want to lower it a bit, the only problem is how low? don't want it to be impractical and be scraping on everything (eg speed humps and pulling into my driveway) so just wondering how low I could go but still have it sitting sweet. also how much $$ approx am I looking at to get it done? Im in the Perth area. still have the standard 18's. if anyone could post photos of theres so I could get an idea it would be great. cheers fellas

looking at getting the stage 1 kit from monsta torque. want to get around the 300rwkw mark. I was thinking about getting plazmaman 4inch intake and valve springs as iv heard there a bit weak under more power. would it be worth adding these or not worry with that power? also would it be a good idea to upgrade cat? cheers

im in the same boat, got 2 years warranty left and dont want to void it on the off chance something goes wrong, but want to do a couple of minor performance mods. would mods like intake muffler delete, tune and injectors be enough to void it? cheers

I got mine done a couple of months ago and loved the result, I had them done in perth though and cost me $100 a rim to get painted and they had it done in a day. this was at kustom panel and paint so its was a quality job. not sure on how to upload photos though hah

kustom panel and paint in landsdale are well known and do a professional job so check them out.

I had the same problem trying to decide manual or auto when I got my mkii. test drove the manual and auto and ended up going the auto and haven't looked back, absolutely love it, soo smooth and quick. but at the end of the day it is your money and your choice, but definitely test drive both.

Thanks guys Yeah I'd heard good things about the djr ones. A they a strait bolt on that use the same holes or will new holes have to be drilled?

hey guys, looking to change over the standard wing on my fg xr6t to a bobtail type. does anybody know wether it is a strait swap or wether it would need to be fitted by someone? also iv heard that theres a few different brands out there that make them and some fit better than others, could anyone give me a heads up as to witch one would be the one to go for, and witch ones to stay away from. cheers

yeah iv heard of that stuff, was just a bit curious as to how long it would last. either that or was thiinking about powder coating.

hey guys just got a 2012 mk2 xr6 turbo and want to get the stock rims painted black because I dont have the funds yet to upgrade. does anyone know of anywhere around perth that is decent and would do a good job? also if anyone has painted their rims what sort of price would I be looking at. cheers

yeah was thinking that would be the case. might stick to the flash tuner so when it comes to warranty I can tune it back to stock. what are they like about getting exhausts done?

hey guys finally picked up a 2012 fg xr6 turbo and absolutly love it. its still stock though and was wondering what sort of simple but effective mods could be done without pissing ford off and not getting covered by warranty? also there are so many different performance brands out their its hard to know witch one has the best name and reliablilty. cheers.
