  1. Hey, Just after a little help. I am trying to remove a headlamp (battery side) and while I think I have removed all the bolts (two top near guard, one on top near grill assemby and one behind front bar on RHS) it still seems to stuck around where the indicators are in the headlight assemby. Trying pushing from behind and it still wont come. Any suggestions, by someone who has removed them before? Cheers, Ben.
  2. Nice ride XITMNT. Was a good read, was amazed at how much power at low boost/RPM. Good luck with it mate Cheers, Ford Grunt
  3. Can't see anything only "user posted image". Ford Grunt
  4. Would like to see the how the tinted tail lights come up like. Post a pic up if the get a chance after you get it done. Thanks for the pricing built2redline. Cheers, Ford Grunt
  5. Cheers I'll take a look. Trough mate, do you know the price of the factory Mk2s for a pair? Im thinking of a few ideas for tail lights, as I want that AWC duel exhaust rear bar without the reverse light in the bar jobby. Cheers again, Ford Grunt
  6. A question I probably know the answer to, but are there any aftermarket BA Mk2 ute tail lights on the market yet? Cheers, Ford Grunt
  7. Alright cool mate. Id expected the grill set to be expensive, I like the AWC bar, but not so much of a fan of the grill that they put in them, much prefer the original looking grill set. I'll be eventually getting a bit of a kit, front and rear bar (the dual exhaust bar rather than Tornado bar) and hard cover, got to sell my stainless steel ute toolbox first but. Do you know the guys personally mate? I've only chatted to Adam once over the phone. Cheers, FG
  8. Very nice Gavin. Looks the goods. I be after the same front bar soon enough for my ute. Interested to know how much the FPV grill set cost and was it much of a drama to have it fitted to the AWC bar. Second question, is that the AWCs new tray lid as well? Nice Autotech sticker too Cheers, Ford Grunt (Ben)
  9. I should be up for it again this year Muzza. Ford Grunt
  10. Was a Good day boys, nice to catch up and nice photos. Even though I only keep up for about 5 seconds, got lost behind cars at round-about then stopped at "the crossroads" lights. I see me and my wife made the cut in a photo too (dude wearing Autotech hat). Cheers boys, Ford Grunt
  11. Good stuff, see you all at Glendale Video Esy Cheers, Ford Grunt (Ben)
  12. Nice work Muzza a bit a program. Id be happy to do either ha ha. But will go with option 2, cause its closer to my house No seriously, probably better option as decent parking at rear of servo, (its tried and tested for various other Newy FPV-Tickford Club runs ive been on). In fact this may be a problem maybe swelled full of cars as they are Newy FPV-Tickford Club are meeting there, maybe we could follow them up to the show, they are a good bunch of people, (no time on website or following thread but, I could find out if we wish). See here for yourself: http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.ph...1655#post871655. Cheers, Ford Grunt
  13. Dat my man, I'm up for ^^ Meet 9.00am Speers Point, leave by 9.30am. That allows 1/2 hour to wake up Ford Grunt
  14. Im good which ever. Speers point starting point sounds good, say 9.00am? Newcastle after show also sounds like a plan. Cheers, Ford Grunt
  15. I reckon you almost want to be there by 10.00am, based on prior shows I've been to the shows generally over (ie. alot of cars leave the display) by 12.00 to 1.00 pm. Is it right we are not planning to be in the actual car show itself? could be an idea, for showing doesn't all have to be old school, the FPV-Tickford club are on display for example. Anyways I'm in for a cruse up to the show. Add me to the list. I'll have to take it easy thou, only 3 points on the licence left. Ford Grunt
  16. Ha ha now now. Haven't had anything done to the ute yet, but is going to have either larger injectors or drilled out jobs + a retune (problem latter option as cheaper option), which is part of rectifing the problem I have of the car running too lean up top and the other part was to aim for some more power/torque. Still going every work morning along Hexham straight mate, usually between 8.00 and 8.15am. Give us a wave next time I'm keen for a run to the Tomago Car Show next week, just need final clearance from my missus. Ford Grunt
  17. Id add my name to the list but its already added How's things Muzza? See you car is pushing some serious torque be due for a new transmission soon right Be good to catch up with you blokes. Missed this thread as haven't been on the site enough lately to notice, busy thinking about our XR5 and related forum. Man small world, went to Kurri Kurri High School years 8-12. Id should be up for the Tomago show, will be perfect as my XR6T should be retuned just before then (hopefully to 350+rwkw). We try to go every year to the show, Hunter GT Club usually put on a good display too. Newy FPV-Tickford Club should be there as well. Cheers, Ford Grunt (Ben).
  18. Must admit, don't use mine and will probably rip out for a sub(s) later. Then again I have a massive tool box in the tray which holds all my crap Ford Grunt
  19. mmm. mine squeaks all the time except when braking (very loud and annoying), but mine is from a different cause I believe. Ford Grunt
  20. If you can salary package and its worthwise from an after-tax perspective this can take the heat out of the high fuel price for example you save 10% on GST to start with. I'll give you a hint regarding my ute: FBT exempt "turbo-charged deduction" Ford Grunt
  21. The new AWC hardlids look the goods. Anyone else seen these? Cheers, Ford Grunt
  22. Looks very tidy. Good stuff mate. Ford Grunt
  23. Work is apparently being restarted on it: http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.ph...4234#post654234 Im keen for the lid as well. Cheers, Ford Grunt
  24. Most people wont have theirs until a few weeks from now (if they got in early). We ordered a Sea Grey one, will be waiting until mid June/early July for it but, can't wait (excuse the pun :D) Cheers, Ford Grunt
  25. Are you talking about a paying a lease or Hire Purchase out early? or a mortgage? Reason I ask cause you won't get any savings by paying it out early. Here is a a web based version example of the calculator I use at work (tvalue) to calculate the a missing variable such as working out what the monthly lease payment based on a the rest of the information, or simply to get the spread of the interest deduction pa for hire purchase agreements. For example I worked out the monthly repayment for you example would be $775.29 pm based on $18,400 residual (40%). http://www.tcalc.com/tvwww.dll?CalcLease Let me know if this helps if you like. Cheers, Ford Grunt (Ben)
