  3. Not diff bush, inner CV's are cactus :(
  4. Awesome, thankyou for the pics Don. I gots press a new diff bush in before Saturday, its torn its guts out again lol. Was great to meet you and Bizkets Hope to see you both on Saturday Kindest regards Jon
  5. Cooler should be able to be anodised as long as it has been welded with 5356 filler wire. If they used a 4043 as probably case with cast tanks then the anodizing wont take to the weld metal as it is silicone based. Guy in states anodizes all his intercoolers nicely. 5356 is magnesium based filler wire and should be used if the parts are needing to be anodized, such as in fuel systems etc. Just ask Kevo Kind regards Jon
  6. Hey bud, welcome. Nice G6 Yep Im still in love with mine. Have mates trying to sway me over to, dare I say it....GMH LOL. But I personally don't rate them with an FG whatsoever. Good job on vehicle choice. I am running a Truetrack centre and rate it highly, cant say much of the Kaaz as I don't know anyone running one in a FG yet. My mate is about to put one into his BA though. I know a lot of people running Kaaz centres in other vehicles and have never heard one complaint. Hope you enjoy your time on the forum Kind regards Jon
  7. Hey bud, yep $150 is peanuts. Got any pics? Kind regards Jon
  8. Sure is off to Bens, so not happy. Its not hard to be honest and tell us they hit our car. Think it was a poo VN commo the mrs saw. Yep the B4 Libs gone to a new home. I just bought a ba xr6t ute, wow soooooo slow lol. Fg motor going in soon lol. You any closer to that FG yet? U know u need one!! Lol Kind regards Jon
  9. Hey Lee, nope that's not him. Some maggot sideswiped the BA when the mrs was parked at shops. The whole sides gota get painted. Apart from that she still loves your old bus Kindest regards Jon
  10. Awesome job bud!! Gota be happy with the result Kind regards Jon
  11. Splaying the ends is very very easy and doesn't cost anything. I would think a venturi plate would have to be machined from at least 12mm alloy on a CNC mill and would add to the cost of the cooler. Having longer tubes which you can splay out doesn't cost anything at all. Would have been a K&J extruded core? Kind regards Jon
  12. Hey Bud Sorry for the late reply, been flat out this week. I don't know what offset the fronts are. I got them off a mate who was running them on his BB XA coupe. I will measure them up for you on weekend if you like Kindest regards Jon
  13. Bummer they have no stock of 8.5 convos in 5" bs. Will just run with mates rears for meet. He went 10.05 on same wheels tires. Sooooo spewin, convos look soooo killa, but kinda bit gay too after looking at 20's lol.. Will keep the fron runners on though Kind regards Jon
  14. Convo Pros!! Just gota see if the 15x8.5 with 5" backspace fit
  15. Def port the factory WG and fit bigger flapper. It will be fine for the 76 Kind regards Jon
  16. LMAO!! Yep dynos can be misleading. It ran 127mph before with 401 so will be interesting to see what it goes this time. Yep GTX76 has .6 cover Kind regards Jon
  17. I just made 446rwkw from little GTX35 76. Compared with the OEM FG 76 the GTX 76 has billet front wheel, still 76mm exducer size with 4" anti surge comp cover, flowing around 15% more air. It gives the little snail good mid range and a top end the OEM 76 never had. F6 runs the bigger 35 82. Kind regards Jon
  18. Yep its a big difference from the Euro tube n fin designs. The Euro are so light with laser welded tubes and offset internal fin structure. You don't have to be Einstein to work out a lighter core will transfer thermal energy faster than a heavy cooler. Just like 2 pieces of ally plate the same size but one 2mm thick and the other 8mm thick, heat them up to same temp and the thinner will cool faster. That's all you want to do is transfer thermal energy from the charge air to atmosphere as fast as possible. Heres another pic of a Euro tube n fin. I have a pic of a core from Denso Europe floating around too I will try and find Kind regards Jon
  19. Hey Jules I didn't get a chance to mate as it was so rushed just to get car on rollers. After the runs we did check the recorded temps of the PWR from previuos tune which had climbed to 40 odd degrees. The new coolers cold side pipes were totally cold, I think it would have been lucky to be over 20deg on a 15deg ambient day? I will head out to dyno again after drags and try and do some logging. I do have my PWR temp gauge which I should hook up too. Here's a pic of PWR extruded tube guys, probably the best extruded type tube and fin I have used. With that being said tube and fin technology has come a long way forward from extruded designs. Kind regards Jon
  20. So now the rush is on to get the trans stripped and Nizpro input shaft and clutches fitted before the drags. Gona be cutting it fine. Hope it works out ok Kind regards Jon
  21. That's a 600x325x100. Here is a pic of mine 3/4 the way through tube entry splaying Kind regards Jon
  22. This is the core I used, its a Euro tube and fin, same as Hypertune use. It made 46 more rwkw than my PWR stepped. I fabbed the cooler and pipework, will be offering as a kit very soon. The core is extremely lightweight, about 1/3 the weight of smaller PWR it replaced. Kind regards Jon
  23. Cheers Matty, I was just wondering as my economy has raised a few eyebrows. Good to see its across the board, might end up with a few more peeps moving across from GMH now LOL Kind regards Jon
  24. The 76 def comes on hard and fast Matty. If you were in SA you could take it for a spin. Yep the wife thingo makes it hard, trying to convince her the fuel economy will benefit is wearing a bit thin!! Speaking of which, what sort of economy do you see on E85, I average around 11 to 12 L/km Kind regards Jon
  25. When we first ran it up we tuned it to 98 and it made 350rwkw, I think it would have been more like around 380ish with the cooler I now run though? The E85 drama is a bit of a pain in the arse up south in SA. My closest Caltex keeps running out which sucks massive #*^#! Why the G6 isn't an everyday ride now. I am really happy with the 76, the instant power delivery is awesome! I like it better than the 82 compared with mates rides but everyone is different hey. Its spooling hard just backing out of driveway! LOL Its hard Matty hey! LOL. I have so many other things that require my attention and money but I just want more LOL. At nearly 42 I thought I would have grown out of this years ago, I guess it will never leave me alone! The wife loves it!! Kind regards Jon
