I prefer lightweight tube n fin, have played with all types of cooler cores for 20+ years. For some reason it seems a touchy subject lol. I have just imported a bar n plate core to compare with the euro tube n fin cores I am using. Will be posting some data on it soon. I can say though that it is around 3 times the weight of the euro tube n fin and flow area seems considerably less. I want to run a back to back test with identical tanks so flow and air speed is the same with a repeat loading cycle. I think I will see if I can get them tested at PWR's wind tunnel facility as well as back to back on car/dyno. Just some food for thought though, I picked up 45rwkw from changing from my pwr stepped to a bigger euro tube n fin. I also picked up 6mph down quarter. The new cooler although considerably larger weighed in considerably less. Just like when cooking heat is transferd faster through a lighter aluminum pan than a thicker, heavier one....
