  1. Never mind, it was a stupid question Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
  2. Probably a stupid question, but when fitting upper inner control arm bushes on the fg do you leave the old outer shells in the control arm amd fitted new ones in that or do you fitted the new bushes straight into the alloy arm (using the superpro kit) Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
  3. Looking at whiteline lower control arm bushes, has anyone else fitted these things. Do you just insert the rubber into the old bush sleeves. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
  4. Hi everyone, I have a g6et with ssl Springs fitted. It has 115000 on it and has just developed a clunk noise from the drivers side front corner. I've had a look underneath and checked all bolts and can't find anything obvious. Should I be fitting new bushes to the lower control arm or maybe top ones too. To me it sounds a bit like ball joint but I'm not sure. Completely stuffed the inside of my drivers side (12 month old) tyre too. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for your help, I pulled the pump out today and sure enough the hose was split. Good as gold now
  6. Oh also I checked the codes and it came up with p1000 and p1260. If it was fuel pressure wouldn't it bring up some code for that. I thought the in tank replacement pump was fine to do without a retune, and we have been really babying it putting around.
  7. Hi guys I'm having trouble with my g6et. The missus was driving this morning and it started running very ruff and wouldn't go much over 30ks. I started the car tonight and it's running ruff as guts. I don't have a boost gauge on it but it seems like it has no boost at all. Could my actuator be stuffed and causing it to run like this. Last night I squirted wd40 in the boost solenoid, could I have stuffed something then. The car has been tuned with I'd injectors cai and f6 cooler. I have installed a pwr stepped cooler and walbro in tank pump just last week, it's booked in for a new tune on Wednesday with hi flow cat. Everything has been fine till today.
  8. Oh, of course oil in water. Thanks
  9. Hi guys just wondering how I tell if I have a zf milkshake. Will the auto just not work and the car rev and not go anywhere. Will it go into limp home mode. Should I pull a transmission line off the cooler and check. Sprayed wd40 in boost solenoid last night now my G6et seems to be in limp home mode, but the missus described an auto slipping yesterday
  10. Sorry for being a dumb are, bit of a novice with this stuff. So the flat spot on the graph is what I'm feeling then. Feel like such an idiot. Would this be a problem with the tune or a mechanical issue then. Getting ready for a cat and bigger intercooler then I was thinking of getting mick to tune it this time. I hear he's pretty good
  11. By surging I mean when I accelerate hard, say a freeway onramp the acceleration is not smooth when the car reaches around 100-120. This is not noticeable under normal driving, just hard acceleration. The car has 285rwkw and I use 98. Only really noticed the surging in the last couple of months but it has ran a little rough at cold start since the tune and mods were done, about 18 months ago
  12. Hi guys, I have a little problem with my g6et. When I accelerate reasonably hard I can feel the car surging a little. It has minor mods, growler induction, id1000 injectors and a f6 intercooler. Just replaced the plugs tonight but had made no difference, also it runs pretty ruff in the mornings. Any ideas. Thanks
