Great feedback in this thread. I won't be worrying about putting an LSD in the G6ET I buy. Won't make any difference to me by the sounds of it, I'm not a hoon and the G6ET is just as quick if not quicker without LSD.

Hi guys, I'm looking to replace my written off BF XR6T with an FG G6ET. Just wondering if anyone knows of a G6ET in Edge (preferably) or ego/black for sale in Victoria for $28,000 or less with 100,000kms or less. Black interior not tan. Would love to have the optional 19" rims. I know I'm picky but all the ones im finding on carsales.com.au are in QLD/NSW and not in edge. Ready to buy asap with cash. Kind regards, -Matthew

I agree, but the bloke driving a phoon is still a long shot from being better - the other guys driving a $400k supercar!

That's not what I'm saying - I'm saying even if your phoon pulled an 8sec 400m pass, you would still be in a falcon, and that guy would still be in a brand new Ferrari - hence he's still winning by a long shot

Mate, no matter how quick and powerful a phoon may be.. If he was driving a Ferrari F430 - he already beat you hands down

Haha...just going by the facts fellas - Ford '8's are trucks. 6's on the other hand. . .mmm ! (hence why I'm on www.fordXR6TURBO.com....) Give me an XR6T over an XR8 anyday !

I really don't see the extra money in any of FPV's cars, over the standard Fords. Unique bading and numbering, decals on bonnet and side skirt, 30kW more and a body kit / spoiler. Most of these things can be done with 5 grand. I'd have a HSV over an FPV anyday.

New to this forum...just found this post - sounds awesome ! I actually live in Morwell, and my dad used to hold alot of the open days at the Hill Climb - the national champs was at the hill climb today actually. I'm only 16, so obviously can't drive, but could I come and watch and take photos ? I'm pretty into photography. I'm guessing a fair few of you guys will have XR6T's? If so I cannot wait. . .that is if I'm allowed to watch. Excitement ! ! ! I'd like to meet a few of you guys too anyway. Cheers -Matty J

Hey guys, I am a Expensive Daewoo man through and through. . .that's even after having my parents owned 4 different BA Falcons - but after going in a serious drive with my 18 yro brother in an XR6, I loved it and well...he's buying it ! (not bad for a P plater eh?). Now he currently has about 4 grand worth of after market sound system tied up in his VS Late model camira which works fine in that. . .but with the BA it has a 1 piece centre board, So... He has the basic 2 subs, headunit, splits, speakers, etc. A) how could he install the headunit and would it work properly? B) if he can't, would the stock headunit run the 2 subs well or at all? They're Rockford Fosgate Punche's. He does not have premium sound package, how much is this package? Cheers -Matty J
