Turbosmart 12psi actuator Gonna be spamming this thread over the next week as I bought a sh* load of sh*t today and more coming this week. Build thread to follow in a few weeks

HID conversion kit with 6000k globes & some white SMD T10 wedge globes for the front parking lights. Once you have had a car with zenons everything else looks sh*t. Oh and I went and visited Kev from Process West today. Put my order in and I shall be picking up a Stage 3 kit next friday ......cant wait to get my hands on it.

I have seen first hand how strong a little tack like that is and beleive me for that purpose it is more than enough. But yes it does look like they trying to cut down on there power bill.

Sooooooooooooooooooo many topics on this. Just do a search or go hunting through the threads. Good place to get ideas is in the "300 club" threads. Find a car similar to yours and compare mods to power. Than go searching the Internets for prices. The biggest gain for the smallest outlay would probably be injectors, cat, tune.....not sure how good the standard fuel pump is but you could always drop in a Walbro. Than I imagine your standard intercooler is gonna start heat soaking pretty bad. And so on it goes. What sort of power is your goal???

Hey Ratter, any further developments on the (potential) BA/BF process west intercooler group buy. I have put a post up on the fb fan and trading page how ever I think there will be much more interest on the forums. Dan

Big ups I love sleepers like this

from memory, last year - green slip = over $900, rego = around $450
-
07 BF2 Tornado #0164 Commercial farm vehicle rego sucks....Prepare to bend over annually for your green slip and rego if you own one of these. I should of bought a Typhoon and a tow bar.

I never considered an e85 tune because of the hassle of going to get it, 40 min round trip just for fuel, Cringila would be perfect, only 10 mins from home and even closer to work. I think there would be enough interest in Wollongong to make it fees able, need to spread the word on other car forums not just xr6T's

my turbo gave up the ghost a few weeks ago, BF mk2 F6, 73,000kms. It was grinding on shut down and howling on warm up so I replaced the oil feed line which was blocked, lack of maintenance from previous owner, it lasted another 9 weeks of hard driving before the bearings seized and it stopped boosting. Complete new cartridge from Mr Turbo in Queensland was $895. Payed for it on Thursday afternoon, arrived at my work Friday lunch time, pull the turbo off Friday afternoon, changed the housings over and put it back on the car Saturday morning. Would have liked to of upgraded, but wasn't ready for the outlay of a tune so I stayed standard, still good for 400. I did manage to change the rear housing to a ported one with larger flapper while it was off. I don't know enough about the smaller fg turbo sorry....maybe someone could chime in.

Harry's Liverpool Meet & Greet Friday 28Th June
I JET replied to Pixy Angel's topic in New South Wales
Any of you guys coming on Friday night pushing 350 -> 400 rw killawasps? If so I may have to ask for a demonstration. This is my power goal for the first round of mods. I've been in big hp v8's before but not turbo 6's. ANGLE#3 you can put me on the going list now....However I live in Mt Keira so I'll just wait for you guys at the top of Mt Ousley Rd. at the rest stop there. You don't have to stop just make sure you give me a few beeps as you cruise past and I'll join in from there. I'll have my cb so maybe pick a channel and let me know before hand and I'll make sure I have it turned on. Also which way do you plan on going? Picton Rd - M5 or Appin Rd - M5 Hopefully it stops raining tomorrow so I can wash the slow ute. -

maybe at this stage -
id have to say Ronin then Gone in Sixty seconds, cause the old mustang looks and sounds so sexy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r4_fjxLuj4 and then this bloke

sounds like its the rear main. I'm pretty sure these motors are meant to take 10w 50 or 15w 50. If you're confident its not residue from when you filled it up and it has only developed since you changed the oil, I would dump that new oil you put in and run some thicker stuff like they recommend.

It wasn't too bad really, sooo much grip at the drags so I didn't worry about wheel spin or doing a burnout. I wasn't launching that aggressively though dont worry about the rear brake, just show up there with a full tank of fuel, that will help with the wheelies. I was only using half throttle in 1st gear and 2 thirds throttle in second, any more and it would lift like it did in the third run on the video.

http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/84870-2-wheel-transport/ ^^ see post 21 in this thread........video from eastern creek drags, bike ran a 9.89
-
Dont worry about a lams bike, just buy a bmw S1000RR, Here's a video from eastern creek drags in March, 9.89 sec @ 256 km/hr, only mods are exhaust, air filter and power commander 5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHCdiy2wN48[/media On a serious note I have ridden a few different lams bikes and id personally go with the suzuki sv 650. I had a Honda RVF 400 when I was on my p's but it would be way too small for you by the sounds of it.

^ lol....was still spinning the wheels...If you look closely at the tacho and the speedo you can see the point where it gets traction and leaps from 60 to 80 before changing to second gear As for the beeping I generally change gear at 5 cos reving it out doesn't feel like it pulls any better, feels like the power peals off around 4500 - 5000...need more power and a tune :( ................ I like engines that pull all the way to red line like my beema <-- shift light is set at 14,000

bad news, I had a fair bit of traffic on the way up so I didn't make it there in time to compete, was gutted so I just came straight home. I did manage to find a private road on the way home and film a 0 - 180 km/hr run, not the best start though lots of wheel spin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdK8hLXcRUo
