  1. Joe + CMS = GUN BLOKE!!!!! had the timing redone by Joes team. His Upfront No dribble approach to my issue was brilliant. Highly recommended
  2. Im thinking that after being there and seeing the cars that were there and knowing one of the mechanics as he used to be my local mecho I think they will be getting the nod for the performance improvements
  3. Its was nice to drive to work this morning and not have a rough idle for a change. Im thinking I might have them do a tune and a few small mods to it.
  4. Well all fixed, Cam had jumped a tooth. runs much better now and idles like a dream. Took it to the guys at Cresent Motorsport at Liverpool. Joe and the guys did a great job. And the Car that was on the dyno was an animal!!!!!!!! The car was from the ACT Blue BA sedan. Cost for the diagnostic and the re-time was $440. I thought that was pretty fair.
  5. geez that's doesn't sound to promising. But ah well just have to wait and see what they come back with
  6. going in Thursday to have it looked at. I have noticed over the last week since the oil change that the idle is getting a tad better. Still going to have it seen to though. Might "need" a tune to help "fix" the issue.
  7. Got in to see a mechanic today. Diagnostic showing cams a too far retarded. so next question. who is the best and how do they fix it?
  8. new oil 10 - 50, oil filter, still idling like a turd. plugs were checked all exactly the same. any other Ideas
  9. Guys Im the situation to be replacing the clutch in my 2011 FG ute. Was wondering what everyone is using. Don't want the factory turd as I do some towing and Ill be doing a few track days and super sprints in the future so need something a little bit stronger than factory. Any suggestions are welcome. Cheers
  10. Im running 5-40 but its due for a change pretty soon so Ill do it early and see if it changes. Ill check the manifold gasket aswell thanks
  11. Was driving to work this monring and discovered after pulling up at set a lights that the car is "idling rough". Has anyone else had this issue in the past? Ute is Stock standard always run on BP98. oil changed regularly. doesnt get thrashed ( I get roughly 800KM to a full tank) I should point out that the pugs were changed 10,000ks ago and it went perfectly until this morning. Drove home last night without a drama. Its idling up and down betweeen 600-750 rpm and sounds like it has "blower roll" I have the OBD scan tool so ran the fault code check and the only fault that came up was the grey "theft" code Nothing has flashed onto the dash at all. Bit concerned as its never happened before. Any advice is or input is welcomed
