You could mention that we are from the Ford XR6 Turbo Website.. might also be an idea to have a bbq during the day or something for all forum members.. would be nice.

I am picking up my car at 6:00 tonight. Can't wait. All I can say to the rest of you is, just keep on at your dealer and keep phoning Ford. Congratulations mate.. mine will be ready tomorrow afternoon.. :D

The race has ended. My car is at the dealers. They have phoned me and said it will be ready tomorrow about 2ish. Can wait. Persistance pays off. :D Might even get it tonight if they hurry up and clean it. The race hasnt ended yet.. my car is at the dealers too

well i thought those rims look nice but hadnt got a price yet for them.. rang this afternoon.. $6000 for 4 including rubber.. Somehow I dont think i will be getting them. Ive heard from a few people aftermarket rims can bring the value of the car down.. also takes away the XR look from the car. Do you guys think so? My cousin who has some very nice cars tends to agree with them.

Did you order your car with the 18's, or did you add it on to your order later on? l would try for the 18's, l have seen them in person and they look great. Really finish off the look of the car.Whether they are worth the money, only you can decide. It was a last minute thing Mondie.. What do you think of the rims above?

The issue I think with all the major delays is that they were not expecting a demand like this. This has to be one of the most wanted cars Ford Australia has ever produced. They were not expecting everyone to want one. All the awards, and publicity this car has been getting has added to the demand and has caused excessive delays.

I was told the 16th November.. so its around 2 weeks late.. They had issues with sunroofs, auto transmissions and more.. from what i have heard only 7 or so cars have come off the production line and are due to be delivered this week/early next week.. and mine is one of them..

Mine is still in transit.. they are hoping for this afternoon if not early tomorrow! BRING IT ON!
