The main reason i bought it was the fact ive always wanted a Turbo. Also couldnt see the cost justification in spending the extra money for an XR8 when the power and performance was their in the XR6T. Im really happy with my purchase. Its a dream to drive. In regards to not purchasing a GT. I would say definently boiled down to cost.

Oh, l like the sound of that. The last thing l want to do is pussy foot around for the first 1000km. l had a feeling modern cars didnt need the same initial care as they did maybe 25 yrs ago. So, just how hard does it accelerate? Is it as strong, especially down low, as what everyone says?? Acceleration is awesome.. just a little pump of the accelerator and the car launches.. Especially over 2000RPM. Just i hate in Sydney traffic you dont even get to go over 2000RPM. Was also told to drive it as i normally would. :D

Well went for a drive today for a little while.. all of a sudden massive thumping noise coming from the driver's side rear shock.. not good at all. Taking it to Ford tomorrow to have a look at it. Every bump you go over it makes a thumping noise. :(

Ordered it Mid October..Bit over 2 weeks late. Has Sunroof.

I agree with the whole stickers thing.. I hate them. But thought yes a tame small sticker would be nice.. just need to come up with a design.. and see how it goes.

Well according to the fuel consumption sticker stuck to the windscreen of my car it says 12.5L/100KM which is pretty good. Cost me $50 to fill it up with PULP yesterday at Shell.

Just want to say thankyou to the nice person who tried to race me on Parramatta road tonight, in his Nissan Skyline GTR R33 Turbo. It was an absolute pleasure, not only to KICK YOUR ASS!, but to beat you NUMEROUS times from the start at two sets of traffic lights. Even though my car is heavier.. Sorry Mate...The Turbo wins hands down! Sorry i just had to beat you.. by the way nice size exhaust.. too bad it didnt do much.. Still beat you in my STOCK XR6 Turbo :lol:

Thats the height of the car standard. The car does sit low. I have a problem getting it up the drive only leaving a few cm's clearance. I wouldnt want to lower the car anymore (as no way i could get up the drive).
