My car obviously wasn't tested properly... had the bolt on the sway bar nearly come off.. its fixed not but it was a worry 3 days after taking it home.. Also heard yesterday that another guy took his XR6T back to the dealer as it was missing gears, and found it to be a problem with the gear box.

Thanks 56Mainline and Welcome aboard :D I have my XR6T in Acid Rush with the Leather interior. It tends to keep fairly clean but does get dusty and you do notice it, not as much though as on a Phantom car. I have to admit Phantom does look awesome saw one in my dealership's showroom about to be delivered to a customer just a standard N/A but it was very nice.. But then again that colour is very hard to keep clean. My last car was a similar colour and you would notice the dust and dirt on it as soon as you washed it and drove it, the bad thing was in order for it to look its best at all times it had to be clean. Hopefully with the Acid Rush colour I wont have that same problem..

That amount every year is what made the decision of not getting personal plates. I had personal plates on my last car, and thinking about it wasn't worth the money (though the car was a show car).

Yes but like QLD that's a one off fee. We in NSW have to pay that same amount every year actually i believe its $352 a year just to keep them as a sort of leasing fee from the RTA.

Not only that the amount of other drivers turning heads just to have a peek at the front of the car. The amount of people checking out the car is unbelievable. Driving to work today must have had around 7 people check it out ..

Just out of curiosity being 24 how much insurance do you pay? Im 25 and ended up paying $2100 a year.

For those of you who have the new BA or the XR6T with Premium sound i remember a while ago someone said that the audio gets louder as you drive and softer as you slow down. How does this option work? Ive had a look through the options on the stereo and found nothing.. Is it the audio compression option? :o from having it checked to on, i didnt notice any difference in volume.
