I do.. The rear speakers has a subwoofer placed in the middle and two speakers on either side with two or three cones each (i believe) im not sure but this is what ive been told.

I have heard from a reliable source within FOMOCO that it is the one from the XR8 as it is alot stronger.

Yes it does.. Stadium, Concert mode and one more. And yes 11 speakers including subwoofer.

This was done at the factory before delivery of my car. And i have been told that all cars will be eeprom upgraded before leaving FOMOCO.

Im a keen car model collector and though i would email the company Biante Diecast to ask if they had any plans to release any BA models for next year. They have confirmed that they are making the XR6T and GT models which will be released next year.. Can't wait Acid Rush XR6T in 1:18 scale YUM! :D

I thought I would ask the question why you bought an XR6 or XR6T? And where did you hear about it first? For me ive always wanted a Turbo car, something about the noise of the turbo kicking in and propelling you forward. Always sort of had my heart on a WRX or an EVO but got sick of 4 cylinder cars and wanted something a bit beefier and with more room. I first read about the XR6Turbo in the Sydney Morning Herald they had an article very small about FOMOCO bringing out a Turbo Falcon never knew it was a six or anything. Even with my parents working at Ford they couldnt tell me anything about it as they hadn't heard about it, must have been some sort of media leak. Next day went into the dealership and asked.. They found out all the info and few days later ordered it. Im very happy with the car.. extremely happy and consider it an excellent purchase and worth every cent! So if your considering buying one do it.. you won't regret it.. :D

The lack of room and insurance was my main concern in not getting a WRX i had always wanted one but when in Sydney they wanted $6500 a year for insurance for 25yr old that made the answer No Way in my mind. Also the lack of room was a big issue.. I liked the room in the AU Falcon not squashy at all. So that's one of the reasons behind me getting an XR6T.

Yes i can back that statement up. Before i bought the XR6T i was doing a comparison on insurance prices. Found out through someone in VIC that RACV had quoted them $700 or so. I had phoned NRMA was given the quote of $2900 or so, AAMI wanted $4400 and Ford Insure was $2400. I phoned RACV and asked them why the difference was so much for the same car and age bracket. They told me basically due to me living in Sydney, more cars on the road, more thefts, more population that I was basically more likely to either have an accident or have my car stolen. This was the main reason they justified the extra cost in insurance. I can now understand why alot of rental cars get their vehicles registered in Victoria and bring them here. Seems to be alot cheaper. But then again I suppose the cost of living in Sydney is alot. Recently been shopping for a house and i dont think i can find something decent in Sydney for under $500,000. Everything is just too expensive.
