Actually FMS is a subdivision of Blaupunkt and stands for Flotten Management Systems. They specialise in in-car entertainment systems. But i also believe they do SANYO work and the parent company is SANYO.. not sure what relation BlauPunkt and Sanyo have.. maybe their the same company? wouldnt be suprised.

That explains it.. i believe mine went to FPV around twice.. for Sunroof and some other stuff.

been told by some members at the dealership it will not affect warranty, though if i have a problem with the "exhaust" it is not covered.. Just the exhaust that is..

Straight through 3" cost can't disclose at the moment, will soon thoughl.. Its not that much louder then the original.. just a bit deeper.. im sure it is under the db rating.. They also changed the air filter with a K&N Performance Filter

Today while i was at the place getting the exhaust done a White XR6 Ute drove in.. i was like mmm very nice.. Anyway it drove past me past the tailgate and i thought damn finally an XR6 Turbo Ute in the flesh for me anyway.. The guy goes to me (as my car was on the hoist) nice care mate.. im like thanks.. he said does it go as good as they say? I think to myself.. ummm isnt that an XR6 Turbo Ute? (had the turbo badge on the back) he say's nah mate.. just bought the turbo badges from spare parts for $26.. he said i get so many looks and people come up to me and say wow mate awesome turbo car.. I laughed so much.. then he had the nerve to ask me why i didnt put a XR8 bonnet on my car.. i looked at him and said.. "because i dont want it to try and be something its not" and he shutup :lol:

COTY, I think this is a fantastic idea and after seeing the attention this car has received including awards, and marketing and just the whole hype surrounding the car what better way for ford to show to the rest of Australia (and other car companies) look what we have done! look at this fantastic piece of machinery.. For example some of the shots taken of my car only last night Acid Rush XR6 Turbo Makes me extremely proud to own a car like this and be a part of the Ford Family.. (even though both my parents have worked for Ford for over 20 years) I like other forum members "Can't Get Enough of This" Chris

Well today i took the plunge and got the exhaust done at Hi Tech Mufflers Sydney straight through exhaust from the turbo back.. sounds alot deeper too but not overwhelming, also changed the air filter to a K&N air filter. They have given me the original stuff so in case their is an issue with warranty i can put it back.. but.. all in all the car feels quicker, deeper, and you can actually hear more air being sucked into the car.. it feels and sounds awesome.. ill take some shots of it as soon as i can and give you a full rundown on how things go.. but other then that im happy :D Thanks to Lambros for an excellent job.. In regards to the computer detecting changes ive been told that the cat is in the same place within the chain so the computer should not notice any difference at all. (this is what they told me). I had a look at the Dyno sheets from the car that was for City Ford 180 Rear Wheel KW and after with the exhaust 197.. im not too sure how they work things out but im pretty sure that means the car is now 257KW? maybe someone can correct me? The car ive been told is now 271KW.

I dunno if its just me.. i havent noticed that much advertising lately on the new BA models or the XR6 Turbo's.. has FOMOCO slackened off a bit? I would have thought they would be trying to market it and push it as hard as possible..
