    Immobiliser

Im not sure about this.. When my mirage a few years back got broken into, they stole everything, and even disconnected the battery to stop the siren from chirping. They didnt steal the car which im quite suprised they didnt. I dont know if the immobiliser saved it or what. But i presume its a good thing to have. Maybe someone with a great technical knowledge on this stuff would be able to explain how it works and why it is beneficial?
  6. Connecting my Sony NETMD via a tape adaptor to the AU worked perfectly the sound was crystal clear and really good. Im getting this AUX input installed on my 3000kms service. So ill let you know how it sounds then. Im pretty sure it will be very good.

    Car Genders

I think my car needs a sex change, by the looks of these topics :D
  14. Well I tend to agree above.. The number plate holder i dont mind.. not much a big deal, but the rear sticker on the windscreen i think is a bit too much. They look too big and too colourful, they need to be designed in a way that they can be seen, but dont take the look away from the car, and turn it onto some sort of marketing medium.

  16. Sure does... you do notice it a tad more then before.. it does feel alot more responsive.. HiTech Muffler's in Sydney who done my exhaust are quite well known in NSW. They have done alot of work for Subaru, and a few other manufacturer's for good quality exhaust systems. Check them out if you have the chance..
  17. It might just be me, but i think that Ford Merchandise is way overpriced and lacking in a major way. I know i shouldnt have but i went and had a look at the dark side's :hiwelcome: web site.. and saw the amount of merchandise that is available and the price of it is far better value then Ford's. Speaking to the Discovery Centre some new stuff is on its way though including XR6 Turbo hat's and a few other things. I just hope that Ford gets their act together and releases some good quality stuff for their fans..
  18. Ill check it out a bit later tonight.. i have the same CD wallet but keep mine in the glovebox. :D
  19. hard time? who? me?

    Mp3 Player

I want to get a solid state Mp3 player for my car... Ive seen a Creative Labs Nomad C model that holds 6GB for $418. Anyone know of anything cheaper?
  23. Mate very nice... Good to see your old man has a very nice car too :D wish mine did.. and he works for Ford.. (just drives a stock AU Futura).. But i think he has got the BA bug.. after me getting my turbo, i heard him mentioning to my mum "Dont you think we should trade in the AU? We get a good deal on the BA series you know" :D

    Fpv Xr6t

I know i for one would be interested in an FPV Turbo 6 if they do decide to make one. I think exclusivity of this model is what will make it rare, and really special like the GT. (Not that the current XR6 Turbo isnt special) its not a rare PC and limited by production numbers. I would really love to know the rough specs of the FPVT if they are going to make one...
  25. Checked mine this afternoon and the clip has melted off in exactly the same way as the photo above. Speaking to my dad their is a points bulletin out about this melting clip and he will be looked after by your dealership.
