Will be very interesting mate to see the differences.. Wouldnt mind even putting your filter on my car for the dyno to see if their is a difference with the rampod or the K&N.

Yes still got the standard exhaust at home. But I think what we will do on a dyno day is dyno a standard xr6t and then put mine on and find out for real. This will at least be some sort of judgement. I really want to find out for myself as well!

Thats exactly what happened with my first PC when i was around 8!!! :lol: Luckily for me it got replaced under warranty..

Hi Tech Mufflers did the exhaust in my car, i truly notice the gain more now then before. Ill let you know the dyno results from our dyno day would be very interesting to see. Strange though that they told me roughly 271 or so Flywheel KW.

The last pic shows it exactly its like the bonnet is extended and not equal to the guard end. Quite interesting.

Yesterday went into the panel beater to see how my car is going. This guy is an absolute perfectionist and straight to the point about everything. He has known my father for years and they are City Ford's main choice in repairers in Sydney, and also recommended by Ford Insure. Anyways, i was checking out my car and he was talking to me. He said he ordered the right hand guard from Ford and it came in, they sprayed it and went to put it on and the guard was way too short, leaving the bonnet overhanging the length of the guard. He ended up respraying it back to black and sending it back to Ford Motor Company saying its not good enough. They then sent him another guard, and this one was a bit better but still not exact. Just wondering has anyone else noticed that the guard does not line up exactly with the bonnet? I havent really noticed myself, but was wondering if its the same on your cars. He also explained to me that the quality ie front bumper and guards are not the best, compared to european cars, that they have made it extremely light and flimsy and more for looks and not protection. He said the guard is like paper thin same with the bumper. He was amazed at the way it could just bend. Obviously for appearance, weight reduction and cost reduction. Very interesting... maybe someone can post a pic of how the bonnet and guards line up. Would be interesting to see.

Went into City Ford this afternoon and had my digital camera handy.. Took some photos of the Citric Acid XR8 they had in the showroom and also a black XR8 they had upstairs. The bonnet bulge looks absolutely awesome in the black. It is really noticeable.
