The thing is though if you plan to do major performance upgrades you will need to change the bonnet. I know of a few companies planning to use the XR8 bonnet with the upgrades.

Im actually a bit over this post myself. Their is alot of factors into buying a car, and the XR6T met most of our members needs exactly. I am sure most members did not buy it to race little cars. We wanted the comfort, the ability to carry extra people, reliability, safety all the stuff the cheaper imports just dont have. If i really wanted a car to beat others, I would have bought a 12 second rotary or something else for $5,000 and invested the other $50,000 on modifying it, which is what most "ricers" do. I know I used to be one.. had a $55,000 mirage.. Realistically thought you get what you pay for, and speed isnt the only factor.. Meet me on a race track when i get my Herrod mods done. Ill show you who is boss in car double the weight of yours.. B)

Well i got a vanity show plate made up just to put on my bookshelf. Wondering what you think? if anyone is interested can get them in multiple colours with anything you wish on them.

I got a problem with mine at the moment witht he Headlight warning beep not working. They have said its related to the BEM as well.

Im pretty sure our guys in this thread have summed up how to install the globes. You can however post the link.

Even on our Dyno day we noticed the manuals to be over the 200-205KW mark whereas the auto's were in the 182-190 range. You can check out the dyno day posts in the events section.

To tell the truth i love it. I think on the Canberra cruise i was the only person to have one. Its good for driving in the evening (yeh i know its a sunroof :D ) and fantastic on those summer days for cruising around B) I think it was worth the extra money personally. I would say the pro's are above, the con's would be the cost and if it leaks.. i know alot of other brand sunroofs leak over time. Not sure about this one though..

It was a pretty good day.. It was a great turnout!

On the weekend my car got down to 10.3 on the drive to canberra..pretty damn impressive..

First of all want to thank Falchoon and all the guys for organising the cruise. It was a pleasure to finally meet all of you. A really nice group of guys and gals! I was quite impressed with the turnout.. even a Silver FPV Pursuit and XR8 Ute turned up.. I had a really good day.. the weather was superb as well.. damn sorry i was late though in the morning! Well for those wanting pics of today.. here you go! beware as most are pretty large on average 400kb. Anyway once again.. Well got up this morning.. and its pouring in Sydney.. still deciding whether i should go or not.. The weather forecast for Canberra is 17 and party cloudy for today. While Sydney is showers... washed the car (in the rain) just in case.. Trying to think is it worth it to drive 2 1/2 hours possibly in the rain..

Any Police in XR6T's interested in coming along for a visit to our canbera cruise? Would love to see a XR6T police car up close... for good reasons of course
