I totally agree with you on this. They seem to market the range that is the newest, instead of what has been out for a while. Even with things such as the GT and the XR6 Turbo. It seems that Ford tend to market strongly then let things fade away, without realising the possible potential of what advertising does. I know from speaking to a Ford Marketing person that it boils down to budget. They spend all their money on design and getting the cars built, they tend to lack on the advertising side of things do to money constraints.. sad but i guess thats how it is..

It is interesting.. I was planning on trading mine in (hopefully for the FPV Turbo) if it ever comes out in the upcoming months.. Though according to RedBook:

FORDTECH, I read your comments on the BOV issue, but in my case it was the dealer that actually suggested that I get one installed?! Hi Keith, I have been told that a Turbo Timer is not needed in the vehicle. I have also verified that it would void warranty..

Yes Con's Car the Blood Orange XR6T had the APS Phase II Kit, was still waiting to get the fuel pump installed and the air cooling. Extremely impressive.. loved the rims too! I think the APS day really opened up the eyes of our members to show that the APS kit and company is reputable and they mean what they say. It was extremely helpful for David to go into details about even EPA outputs and Emissions testing. Thanks again!

Must say very impressive day at the dyno and with the information provide to us by David Innal from APS. A big thankyou to everyone who turned up. The day was very informative. Thanks to APS and Con from C&V Performance for the great lunch 20 Pizzas went down like a treat! One thing that did suprise me and all of us at the event was Ivan (Cro's) Car.. it pushed 198KW at the wheels completely stock.. All that "driving it like you stole it" has paid off.. With 28.9L/100KMS Fuel consumption what do you expect Once again, thanks to APS and C&V for a very informative day.

Certain things sounds like a good idea.. We may be able to come up with a FAQ page. I guess the reason we didnt decide on this was the fact that if members could come and get the information they wanted and leaved via a FAQ it would not increase our memberbase. Regarding this, this could only be for our "Sponsors" as we have to protect our sponsors best interests. The reason for not doing this is basically not to "commercialise" the forum. We will post this into our "Donating Member" Section and see what the majorities view is. Thanks for the advice

Its extremely hard to get approval from Ford Motor Company to have things like the XR logo or XR6 as these are all trademarked. Unfortunately this is why we dont see many "aftermarket" products with these logos...
