Im sure it was around the 2k mark.. need to verify.. but between $1500-$2000. I think they cut it and thats it.. I am pretty sure they wouldn't repaint the roof.

Yeh I have had the 700 series on my last two cars the XR6 Turbo and the Typhoon.. may take the plunge on the 900 series. I saw one today on a G6E Turbo and they look the goods.

Hi Mick Bob tinted my last two cars @ 18%. However just the thought of an accident and having it denied scares me to get it at 18% again... The new Sentry Security Tint is not too bad and legal.. Dealer has offered to do it at a good price so may end up doing that and just keeping things above board. Cheers Chris

Has anyone seen the new Hollandia 900 series sunroofs? What do they think of them over the common Hollandia 700 series roofs? Just working out what to get on my F6. I am more thinking about if the car is written off or in a major crash. I have heard of a GT owner writing his car off and was told by the insurance company that his visibility was impaired by the tint and denied his claim.

I had that feature installed ages ago in my XR6 Turbo. A local alarm / audio installer done it for me. Worked a treat. Would auto wind up all the windows when the alarm was activated.

Just out of curiosity has anyone had any issues with getting 18% or less than legal tint either with the law, or with an insurance claim. Tossing up what to do / get with my new F6. Cheers

I ordered mine on the 11th July and was told 12th August Delivery, no luck. Was told on Monday though that it had left FPV and it was on its way to the dealership, so hopefully should be with them today / tomorrow the latest. Then it gets the Window Tint, Sunroof put in.. and it should be ready for pickup next week.. -

Yeh but still.. a lease / loan on a car of that value is still around the $1200 month mark.. alot of money to spend for someone of that age! lol makes me feel old!
