Never heard of that.. I know I was one of the first in NSW to have a XR6 Turbo when they first came out. I did hear it had to get some stuff done to it at FPV though, but not sure what.. didn't have any FPV badges / logos or anything on it though, that i could see anyway.

Unfortunately your going to have to wait and see. The install and components will be posted up on the site.

I have been told today mine should be ready Monday / Tuesday next week for pickup.. can't wait! Then off to get the audio system done!

Yes Unfortunately. Had an email from the dealership today.. got booked in on Monday then PD for 3 days, then its off to get the Sunroof done.. they told me i should have it by next Tuesday the latest..

How can you drive with 5% tint? My god.. last thing i want is a defect notice on a F6 over something like tint.

Funny you say that... a salesman who worked where someone else works on here.. years ago I might add and who got the ass, said to me when I walked into the dealership after asking the price for a XR6 Turbo with Leather, Sunroof, Premium sound and Floor mats.. simply said to my face "You could not afford it". A month or two later drove back to the same dealership and parked my brand new XR6 Turbo right outside his desk.. a few years later I was introduced to him at another dealership, this time in a suit as I came from work, as Chris the owner of the FordXR6Turbo.com site who has just put an order down for a FPV Typhoon.. the guys jaw dropped and his face was

Out of curiosity what are your requirements for buying a car as in the must have's to even look at it, let alone take it for a spin. These may also include options ie sunroof etc. Mine are 1. Monthly repayments 2. Performance 3. Fuel Economy 4. Room / Space prefer a sedan. 5. Sunroof 6. Premium Sound with MP3 / IPOD 7. Leather Steering Wheel 8. Window Tint 9. Leather

Interesting. I spoke to Prestige Sunroofs yesterday about the Hollandia 900 and they said to me they have been out in the US a good 18 months or so and have proven to be a success. I do like the 700 series and after having it on the last two cars have had no problems with it. And yes i seem to like being the guinea pig, you would have thought I would have learnt my lesson by now.

Sounds like a very innovative project.. would be interested to see what can come of it.
