What price is Power Torque engines charging for the custom tune?

Hey Guys, Have been lapping around Europe for last two months on autobahns etc. Doing 200kph in a VW Toureg still doesnt stop Audis and Golf GTI's trying to get past you. Anyway, whats the latest cost for a custom tune in Brisbane, and whos doing it. What sort of power increase do you expect over running the 10lb generic tune, as I am. I have CAI, exhaust mod with hot dogs, K&N Filter, and CAPA Flash. Is the power increase worth it, as my 10lb generic tune is running smooth?

Is everybodys traction control fixed? If so, how long does the new download take. Need to book mine is ASAP.

What is the typical rwkw gain of a custom tune over the 10psi generic tune with a MK2 6 speed manual? I have SS Induction & K&N Filter with standard exhaust currently running the 10 PSI Tune. Is the CUSTOM tune worth the cash, and how much does it cost in Brisbane? Whos the best tuner in Brizzy?

SIXRT, I have a spy who tells me the current traction control fix is still not totally working. Have been told to wait approx. 3 weeks for the 'you beut' one. How did you go with yours? Regards Mick

I learned to drive as a kid in Scandinavia, in winter, on ice. I think I have the slippery conditions side of car control fairly much sorted. That is not the point of this thread though, is it? Just looking forward to the software change which will resolve the issue. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Me too

But that's why I bought a car WITH traction control. I dont remember anyone telling me when I bought the Edit " Hey, here's more power, and by the way, you now don't have traction control".

I have had the 10psi tune (CAPA) put on my new Mk2. Since this has been done, Traction control dis-engages when wheels slip in rain. Does not do this on standard Ford tune. I have heard of similar cases. Remember, car is new, and fine on standard tune. Everything else is great regarding power, but the car has become quite dangerous in the rain. Why is this happening?
