Hey is it just me or do the front head lights look different to me.....

Ok...I finally got speaking to the T owner with the FPV shift alert. He quoted exactly what malcx said...He got his controller in the dash cluster programmed to chime just before the limiter. Then he winked and said "a mate from sinclair ford did it after hours" and then he installed the starter button for him also. I want I want.....

Its possible...a local in my area has the shift alert and the starter button on his T, along with the gt bodykit and XR8 bonnet (would of been cheaper to buy a phoon IMHO). He owns a car stereo place and his stereo sounds . I will ask him what he did to get the shift alert. I know he has strong connections with the local dealer...

No, not as yet...Im having trouble locating it. But it comes and goes. I have pulled the cover off and had a good look inside and theres nothong there...It has settled down abit though. I have a big gut feeling it has something to do with the glove box. The thing that annoys me is when you turn the radio off to hear the turbo, I hear the rattle. It just annoys me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahh is that what it is, I will do just that this weekend. Thanks mate I originally thought my rattle was coming from the airbag area too. Hi All, A very generous typhoon driver and fellow member ordered and delivered some typhoon gauges for my T. They arrived today and look . I am wondering if there any other T drivers here who have installed the typhoon gauges into their baby. I have a fair indication of what I need to do. But with no instructions or anything its a bit hard. I need help guys....

The rev up and down when cold?? that's just the computer warming the engine up as per procedure. You will find it stops when the engine reaches a preset temperature. I always allow the ute to warm up 1/4 of the temp gauge before driving. Just to ensure all oils are warm and the turbo has warmed up. If this is your first XR6T the engine noises and actions take some getting used to but are normal. As for the gearbox I cant help here....driving an auto. But anyways good luck with it

I havnt but have been on the same wave lengths as your self. I think if you got the boot mechanism off the sedan and keypad it could work. If you attached the latch and lock in the same place as the sedans in the tray you wouldnt need to use the key locks. It would just pop open like the boot of a sedan. Just a thought, cmon Ford you can do it.

When I took mine out a screw fell out of the mechanism and it got me worried...but its still works fine. Its really notchy when winding the tyre up though.

Yeah iTec I'll cruise it with ya!! My old man said to give it a drive when I was up there last but I forgot all about it on the way out a week later. On the back of the BOV?? Excellent...Is that the most common method used on the T's?? I know a few who used the brake booster hose. Thanks for the advice guys much appreciated.

that's crap, I take the ute to pedders before every service just for a check up and they assure me nothing should go wrong with suspension for along time.

I have tried searching but could not find. Im installing a fairmont boost gauge soon and need to see some instructions of the wiring for lights. Does it light up when lights are turned on or is it lit up all the time??? Any help is much appreciated...

I just dont understand the reason of losing creature comforts to gain such little. A BMW M3 has the go, comfort and ability to handle extremly well around a track. Yes there is a $$$ tag to it but HSV has the ability to create these type of cars at a much cheaper price. IMHO I would purchase the normal clubby and edit bye bye trak pack. Well come to think of it I wouldnt buy a clubby at all

I have driven a new clubby recently and it did NOTHING for me. It felt cheap, over priced and felt old with VT origins still showing. The out side looked too try hard. The phoon just has that appeal to it, when I see one my eyes are glued. When I see a clubby I think is it real and there another....But no air con etc. Cmon that's pathetic......HSV you can do better than that.......FPV keep doin what your doin......

The thing that pisses me off is when I drive my GF's 99 model barina it has only one minor rattle over large bumbs and in my 37k xr6t ute theres crap loads more rattles.
