Hey all, Driving home tonight all was well, went to overtake a slow driver and the car was really lagging like a 4 cylinder. The exhaust made a weird sound and the car was going no where. Luckily I live in a rural area and I pulled into a back lane and tested the car, it was doing the following: - The turbo sounded like the intake pipe was popped off, all pipes are nice and secure but it sounded the same as that scenario. - As noted strange exhaust noise - In neutral the car revved OK Haven't had a chance to look at the turbo but when I got home I could hear it spin after turning the car off, all sounded normal. Its got me stuffed, only time the car has felt this was is when the turbo pipe has blown off, but all OK under the bonnet. Does anyone know what could be going on? Could it be the actuator? Any advice would be extremely helpful. Car is as per signature, only 80,000kms. Cheers,

Sorry gents, only got the CD off my mate this week...Been too busy! I shall overlook some of the comments above... The only annoying thing is the video doesn't show the full magnitude of this hill and what you experience.

No probs, will get a CD from my mate tomorrow and place on a file sharing site tomorrow night. haha, no mate there's no dancing F6 in front of me. Actually the Silver Ute was in front of me and it drove bloody well, credit to the driver. It was taking corners harder than me. I am pretty sure the blue FG ute was behind me and keeping up also. My mate took really good in car footage with a top of the range video camera going up Macquarie Pass, I was going to post but not sure where. I was going to put on youtube but thought it may draw the wrong attention to the forums.

Just checked the beauro, now saying chance of late shower....WTF....a nice clear cold week and now a chance of late shower... It does say Saturday clear so I expect if it does rain it should only be drizzle and pass on pretty quickly.

I did this last year as well, except we went down. This one sounds much more fun with Mt Keira Rd then going up the Pass. Can't wait, weather next week is looking very cold. Hitting zero in my area up in Kurrajong, so it should be similar up at the Pie Shop! Can't Wait!!!

Yeah mate, count me in. I might have a friend who wants to come also, he drives an AU XR8. Not a turbo but hes a big Ford fan!
