At that stage I had 306 at the wheels and was running 17psi up to about 4k rpm down to 12psi in the high revs.

I did a similar mod list to yours at about 40,000kms and I didn't do the valve springs or the spark plugs.....three weeks later the car wouldnt get past 4000rpm because the valve springs were piss weak. Save yourself the trouble and get it all done together because eventually you will have to replace the springs anyway. Do the spark plugs too.
