  1. My Tuner rang me this morning, Put it on the dyno this morning and the clutch started slipping straight away. When I bought the car I was told it had a "heavy duty clutch". When I took out the 5 speed and installed the 6 speed the clutch looked stock. I thought maybe the clamp had been upgraded. So I was crossing my fingers, that it might make it. Hopefully new clutch will go in this arvo and dyno tomorrow.
  2. Took them a while to fit some parts as the turbo , manifold and dump had to come off, plus valve springs done. Is due to go on the Dyno tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
  3. Ah, that's the answer. You have a return line. Not sure if my washer pump has enough pressure to spray and return but I can give it a go. Car should be ready this afternoon but I wont be able to pick it up until tomorrow.
  4. Thanks Kroozin, Just ordered one. I already have 2 one way valves in the system. Hopefully this one is different somehow. Were you having a syphoning problem before you fitted it? Just hijacked my own thread.
  5. Yep. If I can ever get my water spray to stop syphoning out of the tank, it should reduce that problem when the car is on the road. :28_1_12:
  6. The Monza was on the car when I got it. Plus I want the engine bay to look stock so I don't want any big intake pipes. HPF Congratulations on being the first to ask. Target is 300
  7. Took my car to the tuner this morning. So if your up for some fun. Try guessing what RWKW it will make. :jester: Mods list BA manual (6 speed) high volume fuel pump Deka 60lb injectors turbine port flapper mod Garrett 12lb actuator Venom 5 inch, 100 cell cat pipe. The rest of the exhaust is stock. Crow valve springs under battery pipe 2nd intake to standard airbox plus K&N filter Monza intercooler Exhaust manifold, turbine and dump pipe are all ceramic coated inside and out.
  8. Hi good people, My car (BA) is booked in for a tune on Monday morning. I am busy fitting Venom Cat Pipe and I also need to remove my turbo, manifold and dump pipe. I have a port/flapper turbine which has been ceramic coated as have the dump and manifold. Will also be fitting 12psi actuator once the turbo is off. I read mrmackie's post on removing the turbo which has been a big help. However, I have hit a hurdle. I am having great difficulty removing the lower compressor pipe and the compressor vac line. I managed to move the clip on the pipe (bastard) but the pipe just wont come off. I have tried grabbing hold of it from under the car and using my body weight but it wont budge. I have tried getting a screwdriver into the pipe from the top but not having any luck. Having a similar problem with the vac line. just wont budge. Any body have any tips or ideas? They are the original (standard) pipes.
  9. Very nice
  10. Hi Kroozin, That looks like a basic "one way valve" or "non return valve". I currently have 2 in my line but they don't stop syphoning. Hopefully there is something different about this particular valve. Fingers crossed.
  11. Hi Kroozin. That looks like a mighty powerful pump. You might need to use clips to stop the lines blowing off. Been trying to get hold of the washer check valve (anti syphon valve). Bursons etc have never heard of it. I'll keep trying.
  12. Yep, that's the same switch that I got. I installed a 2nd one way valve (a different type) in the line yesterday. Have not had a chance to test it yet though.
  13. The only anti siphon (syphon) valve I can find that may come close is "Sullivan anti siphon valve" Its made for RC planes. However, I can not find any information anywhere that says what size the connectors are.
  14. I have not been able to find a ball and spring thingy either. I do have a couple of different types of one way valve. I put one in near the tank but it does not stop siphoning. I have a different type which I will try.
  15. Thanks Kroozin
  16. OK, my system is installed. However I have a problem. The water is siphoning out of the tank. Even if the system has not been used. I have a one way valve in the line but it only stops the water going back into the tank. My tank is in the boot, in the depression just above the spare. Any ideas?
  17. Nice
  18. Thank you for your help. I found another place called Realtimeexpress.com.au as well. So hopefully my buyer can find a reasonable price from those 2.
  19. That's a clever setup. Combining the temp controller and throttle switch. Great results
  20. Hi There, I just sold my gear box on ebay. I need to get it transported from Melb to QLD. Too heavy for couriers please. Some of the bigger companies wont pick up from a residential address. Any body know of any body?
  21. Awesome, sounds like you are getting great results 10+ degrees cooler. Anybody know what 10 degrees works out to be in RWKW on a standard motor? Yes, this is my first turbo car and I am amazed how hot the under bonnet temps are even an hour after parking the car. The rocker cover could burn my hand. I am planning on putting some louver in my bonnet to reduce this effect. Still in design phase at the moment (although I have purchased a used bonnet for the project). Re: "after parking" You may want to install a switch to turn the system off so that you avoid water dumping. Otherwise being stuck in heavy traffic might also become an issue.
  22. do it
  23. I await the pics with interest
  24. I know this wont help at all but......I think they all look good
  25. Thanks for the feedback guys. Is my decking really "upside down"?
